Shit I really relate to this post. I hope we make it brother or sister.

Hang in there bro. It is hard and I am not going to sit here and say everything is ok but you will find your way my friend. Stay true and stay the course.

Can I get the source on the CDC report? Not saying that you are wrong, just kind of shocking.
/r/MensRights23/12/24 08:33 PM

That is fair. I get a lot of that was wayyy off topic but was just providing my mental process. You are right it is not my job to enlighten people, but it does make it harder to take it seriously. But at any rate, I appreciate you explaining that because I'm a way he seemed right , but also wrong. On your point of emotions vs info exchanges, I struggle with emotions honestly. That is not to say I never bitch about a boss or something stupid (small talk), but I do struggle with emotions due to tr…

Right and that makes sense. I think the follow up was what made me a little hesitant. I guess tldr there are two issues: when to introduce some topics that are a bit more advanced and the second was my friend saying that latter point. The latter point made me feel a bit iffy on the rest of the advice. I get talking about Naruto out the gate or whatever is a bad strategy, but trying to parse niche topics beyond traditional "nerdy topics" can be hard. Things like economic theory, analytical psycho…

I appreciate it. In terms of balance I just mean showing no escalation and only talking like I talk to my friend vs the 180 of that. Even with my friend there are things where I might talk to him about (say arrest of Telegram CEO) that I would not talk to most people about, but I would not get into economic theory or Carl Jung. I have also been able to be more spontaneous I have noticed as I have lost weight (I still have about 20 pounds to get to my bmi), so I will try to be a bit more of a sma…

I will say at work things have not been as weird honestly and went well, despite the second job I do being a bit of a bore. I think improving my weight helped. But there was some other extra circumstances that prevented things from taking off in one instance. There seems to be others interested, but I don't want to shit too much where I eat unless there is a huge pull if that makes sense. At bars any more there might be a woman or two that look interesting, but not enough to be worth going up to…

I was joking about Wow (I actually don't play, it was more an exaggerated example). My friend was going on because I talk to him about geopolitics that is what I talk to girls about when in fact I think the weight was the issue as I have gotten some weird attention lately. I think he might be projecting or something. I get it is hard out there and indeed to sleep with someone making the investment might be a pain in the ass, but as someone with ASD, it is too much of a pain in the ass to deal wi…

I would say even in 2020 they were too. I dislike JoJo and Chase is not much better. Spike is pretty good though. I wish the LP did not fuck up as bad as they did. Gary was a swell guy despite is screw ups.

I do try to do that, but working on that.
/r/seduction19/06/24 08:34 PM

I did not. I have had some girls make out with me in the bar. I guess what I am saying though is there does seem to be more iois when I am chilling. But I am wondering what I could do to escalate it. The most recent happening I asked for her whatsapp and she called my number and then I messaged her later and heard nothing. We were at a bus stop if that makes any difference, near my work to boot. I used to a lot more but led nowhere.

5'11 and not sure. I really strike out on tinder and online dating so I think not. I don't mean to be an asshole asking this, but it does confuse me. People have said I look young for my age. Weigh 215 and trying to work more on my weight. People used to joke I look like Harry Potter growing up if that gives you a better idea of the look.

Also I just Googled both those and looked on the sub and I am not seeing anything off hand. Are there any posts on either of those? I will try to look a few other places as well. Thanks again.

Thanks man. He is brilliant (went to a top business shool)and we get along and have great talks. I tried to even defend him when coworkers tried to bad mouth him, but after these incidences I am done. I get I am not owed a license, but still I have been in the industry 6 years and feel like crap. This made me consider joining the Navy as an office or going sailing, as it seems like a lot of companies treat their employees worse than the government at this point.

We should get the government out of the marriage business, outside executing contracts.

I have been reviewing some careers and keeping an open mind. To me it is mind boggling that you invest in yourself getting a degree, get certifications, have to report everything you do, and yet pay barely budges wig inflation and call center jobs are starting to pay almost the same as what I am earning now. Also congrats on the degree.

Thanks for mentioning the getting fit (working on that now). The finances are a bit challenging as I have not gotten a raise in a bit and have tried to look for other jobs but is hard out there. As for social skills, I think they are decent, but my body language is just off. I am trying to work on that, but it is a process. I get work is work, but the conditions at my current job feel like try kinda deteriorated and as the number of jobs in my industry dropped, I think I need to do some soul sea…

I hear ya. I have friends that I know they are still there but they are going through stuff too. Aaron Clarey touches on this a bit. Sometimes you may need to have friends across the country and go to them. I am not saying you do or don't , but friends change overtime. Having said that sometimes you need to embrace life. I had some of the few friends I had over and my neighbor joined our BBQ and now I have a new friend. Having said that it can be hard too. I tried to go to meetups and other stuf…

It has. After my boss kinda stabbed me on the back I almost threw up at my second job and was kind of zoning out. On a brighter note, I have been dropping weight. And I appreciate it dude. Sometimes you just need that small inner voice and also to see the end goal(s) to make it worth it. I am getting a little older but still have the strength of my younger self.

Kinda meh, but my business I am working on is showing some promising signs (like 3 people wanted to invest in it out of the gate, and I have not even made any sales yet). Dating sucks, but met a girl outside the States and will see how that goes. Felt like telling my boss off for bullshittig and talking about me in front of coworkers. I will see how the business goes but barring that I might make a U turn and going into a type of trades (one that a lot of people don't talk about). we shall see b…

I am feeling the late 20s blues as well, but working on a business idea and looking into a few other ideas. Dating and work feel like they stagnated though. Is what it is.

I get the feeling. Even just a few years ago the friends I made on the internet were zany (two ended up in the news for two separate reasons). Now most people are just a bit, black and white if you will.

I have seen the opposite. Some argue the real red pill guys died in WWII, thus it culled traditionalism. Having said that, many of those who came back were not exactly liberal by today's standards at least.

Lately I have been a bit fixated on this: https://theportal.wiki/wiki/Artificial_Outelligence It is the only place I could find describe the idea. But the gist as I see it is that governments and corporations are bringing about indirect command and control economies through the use of Operations Research, data mining, and strategically positioning resources. The Net (a documentary), Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars, and Project Cybersyn are examples of this idea in action. On the topic though, when…

Yes they were standing behind me at the Denver Airport talking about the hidden meaning of the DIA art :^) . That aside, I do here some interesting banter organically sometimes, but I think it is hard to find sometimes, whether it is men or women.

Perhaps. What it tells me is to fine tune things as I had a few happenings like this. For me it seems like my game ain't bad but I need to work on my weight and some other stuff. Could be wrong though.

Dallas seemed more fun to me, but that is just me. There are some really fun bars across the DFW area, whereas Friday night in Austin on 6th seemed dead as hell. Austin does have some bomb restaurants.

Well let's start with how you find them. Say you go to a bar or club. It should be like that joke Doug Stanhope did about drinking anyways when you see a comedian. If they suck, no love lost and you won't get as pissed. If they are good, they are 5X better. The larger point is when you are hanging out, try to have fun. I have had numerous times that I was just vibing and random women came up to me while I was eating or playing pool and try to start an interaction. Just go with it man. I am not a…

No I get that (as someone neurodiverse). But sometimes I listen to people and think am I really the neurodiverse one? Other days, yeah I am that guy. I have been giving myself chances too as someone with ADHD and keep batting away thoughts that I am being delusional. But to your first point I get that, it is just more like maybe I am not as weird. I have gotten some attention, but it is just balancing too much attention vs too little. That is also a good point on body language. As someone who is…

On the note on neurodiversity, it does seem like many people are introverted/anti social, and I have been noticing more women on neurodiversity subs and has made me wonder how this is playing out in irl.

There are plenty of things I will go to the mat over, but this just seems stupid to get mad over. Something will have to give, whether we like it or not.

Not to get balls deep into this, but most country's Social Security is private. Also if we look at the quality of education it has been in decline. Not saying there cannot be fleecing, but that is with any system.

I was thinking of other too but that were homosexual and even worse. Some of these things were 10 or so years ago, so things could change, but I don't recall anything as of late involving a male politician in the US lately.

Well it is more that egalitarian societies do not lead to that. Also Ayn Rand had good takes on this.

Also if I recall Russia seems to have a lot of female CEOs that are competent. Also Margret Thatcher as PM.

I have been trying this (working 50+ hours a week plus side projects) and I do think my overall anxiety is down, but when I hit a snag, I have been wanting to reach out to the opposite sex. I do wonder if it is the reassurance that I can do X or Y, as my biological mother can be like that is nice hunny but then when something blows up in my face like a recent business idea I have been working on, I won't hear the end of it. I have been a bit afraid of society's collective shadows lately, but I a…

I do find some help in self-therapy (ya know, solving problems). I have been reading Jung and see a lot of society's problems and problem of my owns illuminated. But going to therapists, yeah, hard pass for me.

Highly politically incorrect, yes. Misogynistic, not particularly (depending on the group, bitching about certain things women do or how the culture is might come up, but I would not even say that is the main focus, if that makes sense).

I agree. Funny you mention that (sorry to go off on a tangent), but I have been recently processing the death of my dad a bit more after 15 or so years. Losing someone you care about (either way) is hard.
/r/MensRights03/11/23 11:50 AM
2

That is a good point, I did not think of that. Outside Florida (which recently tried to reform it's laws intentional), I think the majority of the scenarios are what you just said. It is frustrating that tradcons are still stuck in the 70's regarding things. I will say some genX leaders (like the new House Speaker) are intriguing, but I will withhold judgement until I see action. Him mentioning No Fault Divorce was a little surprising, but it could just be buzz words. We shall see.
/r/MensRights03/11/23 11:24 AM

You know I have been noticing a few weird trend (not just this, but I digress), but sometimes I am not sure if it is me getting closer to my 30's, a larger social trend, or me getting my shit in order.

People do need a rainy day fund. Just sucks revocable trusts cost so much.
/r/MensRights31/10/23 02:23 AM

Actually yes. My neighbors had a porch cam and caught someone on temporary restraining order entering my house. As it was an informal hearing, my lawyer didn't present it, but had it in case we needed to.
/r/MensRights31/10/23 02:22 AM
1

For audio it depends if you are in a one party state (California is two party, Utah is one). I would assume most conservative states are one party could be wrong. Having said that, as others have mentioned, despite it being legal it could be used to prove you are a creep (or whatever). Not a lawyer, but look into one party consent and two party consent states. Video recording is another ball game.
/r/MensRights31/10/23 02:21 AM

Now if you have Aspergers and cut your pecker off that is stunning and brave. But if you decide being a guy is fine? Incel. You know the more I read conspiracy stuff and depopulation and reading about how the court helpers were eunuchs, it almost makes sense in a fucked up way.

Or, and hear me out on this, tell the US government they have oil or persecuted minorities. Knowing the US government they will bomb South Africa by accident.
/r/MensRights18/05/23 08:23 PM

That is what I gathered. There is some decent talk about how the left/liberal side of things don't consider men's issues, but it seems a bit too focused on self improvement, and in a way that is kind of a nice guy behavior, not that I think that is their intention. Self improvement is good, but sometimes it borders on self flagellation.
/r/MensRights23/04/23 06:45 PM

Maybe.
/r/MensRights18/04/23 03:34 PM

I was thinking about the first, especially if I ever need a lawyer or need to run. I was thinking of setting up a trust, but still working on the beneficiary aspect, but I supposed that could be an LLC or something.

I did speak with the police about the case today , who was very helpful and nice. I will try not to overdo it but did need to mention some evidence. They seemed more focused on the threat instead of blackmail but I just hate how they are screwing me in general so fingers crossed and hopefully find better tenants.
/r/MensRights11/04/23 09:37 PM

I am so sorry your son is going through this. I know it is traumatic for him, but perhaps there were witnesses or details at the park that can provide help to his case? I am going through something right now and after the initial shock there were little details I recalled that helped my case (but in my case it was blackmail), and so I was able to prove they were blackmailing me.

Nah although the ones from Cartagena and Cali seemed mixed. Bogota

I also talked to a therapist at the hospital (as I needed anti anxiety meds) and told him the story and checked to make sure I was not loopy. Also the detective have been wanting to speak to me and I have been teaching out to my victims advocate.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 09:35 PM
2

That is what I figured but I always worry in spite of that. Also not sure of I should talk to the detective after someone else on here said don't talk to the police. I provided recordings and potential evidence (video cameras) of her asking for money. Also I had a ring camera in the house but was not connected to my phone.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 09:23 PM

The detective asked for the recordings and the text messages from me. Outside that should I just leave it be?

She did text me a threatening text. I will file that today

Best of luck to you as well.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 08:33 PM

I try to give her the benefit of the doubt, but spouting the police killed him, Mexicans, drug dealers, etc. all seems like deflection but innocent until proven guilty. Also she talks to him a lot apparently which unnerves me.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 08:08 PM
2

Well the one thong is she has been offered a job here in the states so that reduces some anxiety on my part. Also I have known her as a friend for a while.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 08:06 PM
2

Also they have not gone to the police and the lawyer I did talk to said that all this seems like bullshit. I will try to speak to some other lawyers just to be sure.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 07:41 PM
3

What type? The lawyer I talked to said real estate but at this rate IDK anymore.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 07:26 PM
3

Makes me wonder. Also her first husband died of suicide too, with a knife to his chest. The most recent was lynching, which is odd for a black man. Also she has told people before that she can kill them like she killed her first husband. I have told the police everything but the last part.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 07:06 PM

I appreciate it. I hope it does not come to that. I also live in a multi story condo right now so we shall see. Thanks for the tips. I do worry about the restraining order triggering them but I have no other choice.

/r/MensRights10/04/23 06:55 PM

Thank God my neighbor has a ring doorbell. I also put a few cities between us, but I will still keep this in mind. I will file the restraining order ASAP but worry that will escalate things. She also threatened to have her family to come after me.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 06:53 PM

How so? I am as far away as possible and trying to avoid them as much as possible. Is there anything else I should do to protect myself?

I already did.

Well not all my talking points are what I hear on Hannity or the Rachel Maddow show (I don't watch tv). I would be remiss not to think that yes what I read filters into what I talk about. Also I get people are no an island unto themselves. If I am being honest most of the stuff in my head never comes out because it would seem like I am trying to be a smartass. I am a nerd at heart and I am not "trying" to be smart, I just like what I like. Cryptography, Cybernetics\Operational Research, programm…

So basically Human Action is a book by the Austrian (school of economics) economist Ludwig von Mises and Man. Economy, and the State is a book by the Austrian economist Murray Rothbard. I believe I read the second (has been a bit) and the first I want to read. Basically economically they are to the right of Milton Friedman (he is good but hear me out). The gist of the Austrian school of economics is the reason for economic freedom is on principle, whereas the Chicago school (Milton Friedman) ten…

Your post, ops, and \u\GlampingNotCamping are interesting. I hope I am not ascribing your wording to a particular ideology, but can't help but think of the Austrian School or Chicago school of economics in how you talk about this. I struggled with my ex trying to talk about this or deeper topics. I have been getting into Jungian stuff lately as well and it makes it hard to discuss common topics without seeming like a weirdo and I only feel like I can talk about this with my boys. I want to expla…

I am dealing with this as well. I don't mean to make excuses for things but I think the US makes it hard for introverts so you can try other places that are more chill. Beyond that idk what to tell you except go see a hooker and separate cold approaches from having fun (bar and clubs). That seems to but the only things I can see. Best of luck. Also treat yourself well.

Well the one I am talking to is in Africa (been talking for several months as friends but still a bit leary). The spot I have been looking at is in South America (been there before). It is funny on Okcupid a few years ago I did better in their capital (more intellectual, etc) but since then Okcupid has gone to shit. The place I am doing well in tends to come off to me as vain but I am doing better there. I get a few lindos here, carinos there. In fairness some are probably hookers but I get like…

I know people pushing my boundaries going forward is a huge no no, but that is where things end in terms of knowing whats what. If you are just casually seeing someone it does not matter so much but where do you draw the line between reasonable values and wanting someone to be an anarcho primitivist. Finding the line between reasonable and not is intresting.

I have been having a hell of a time with the shower base as I had to raise it up and trying to screw in the lumber that raise up the tub is a pita. Well I have been in a rutt lately after a break up and have been a mess up to this point (long story how I overcame this but seems more psychology oriented). One day I was building a shower at my house for an airbnb but took a break and had women initiate with me (which never happens) and introduced myself to the one.I was not in the mood for giving he rmy number but it was weird that my mind slipped off getting laid to fixing my fucking rental and that happened. I also stopped jerking off and that is when things went back into overdrive (along with the two supplements). Probably the closest to compare it to would be Wegmans, but the difference is Meijers is not employee owned but is unionized. Matter of fact (hear comes the tmi) Peter Meijer (the congressman) is the grandson of the founder of Meijer. At any rate they are pretty good and are probably one of the few things I miss about leaving the Midwest.

Meijers is I think in the top 5 for largest private companies in the US. More of a midwest store but they go toe to toe with Walmart. Don't mean to be a jackass or die on this hill but their meat and produce will kick probably any other store's ass. If you are ever in the rust belt check it out.

I really fucking struck out today. I am going to get this though. I went to one of the nicer malls in thr country and was dead. You know I can relate to the age thing. Sometimes their antics give away their age but sometimes there is a blurrier line that even in the decent past for me. Idk I am working on it.

I tried to ask them out but I think they are "old" and I really only know 2 people where I live (outside my ex and he rfamily). I do go to meetups but maybe I need to open up my thoughts a tad more. Going to go to a decriminalization meetup for certain things and will try to open up more. Just need to test venues.

Well being in a long term relationship and having someone cheat plus an ex giving me the run around after that made me realize quick lays (and not relationships) are the way to go. I think this made the proposition look fucking stupid on paper as I am trying to get my dick wet. This lowered the bar and made me realize it is not like I am looking for the mother of my child, but a quick lay, a disposable friend as Tyler Durden would say. That is my take.
