I wholeheartedly agree. Two things I want to say on this that have been on my mind. this is most of what I completely fail to fathom about the transgender stuff. Like some of them if they have the right body type or whatever they're going to look pretty but plenty of them just look like ugly, ugly girls which I guess if that's really how you feel on the inside that's fine, but all of my experience in society has shown me that ugly women are completely invisible, it's like a social death wish to …

This is overly simplistic but what’s always been striking to me is why we consider these positions as lefty, when to me they always seem like the ultimate realization of capitalism. I think this helps explain why they’re one sided, it’s not about men and women going their own way and being free to either produce offspring or produce economically, it’s just about women being economically productive like men are. Men choosing to be stay at home dads isn’t allowed anymore than it is for women becau…

Listen, I appreciate what your saying but that's the thing about introspection.... See what gets a good response and what doesn't. This is gonna sound really lame, but if your as desperate as you say you are, keep a journal. After you interact with people, write down some thoughts about it. Follow that up with more later on. There's also a million different resources online to give you pointers on how to act. Hell, that's why your on here, right? Pick some of the more basic ones out and purposel…

Dude, 75% of the posts on here are something to the effect of 'I'm autistic, I'll never get laid.' Uhhhh, no. You have poor social skills. Work on them. No it's not easy. Nothing worth having comes easy. Try to honestly think how hard it was to learn to do something you can now do effortlessly. Seriously, think. Was it easy to learn how to ride a bike? How fucking long did it take you to learn how to walk? Think about it. I'm not saying you'll remember this, but really think how fucking hard it …

Let me stress this is opinion, and mostly from an outsider (I am not a woman) Basically, I can see how a large portion of mens value (albeit from a toxic masculinity standpoint, but I would argue this is on a spectrum) or worth is derived from how hot a woman you can pull, or how many notches on your bed post and every other cliché I can think of. Obviously there's other factors, but this is a large one, for a big portion of our society. I'm definitely not saying I agree with this, but I have fe…

Yeah the whole things pretty strange. I would argue the female version of neckbeards should be angrier, but they don't seem to be. I geuss that's because men are encouraged to be angry and women are shamed for it? The thing I can sorta wrap my brain around is how our society equates success with women as a major symbol of status and/or intrinsic worth.... Like I can see how someone who can't get a date or a kiss would feel invalidated, but they only make it worse for themselves. This might be to…

Yeah I agree more with you on the social obligation end of this.... I don't think it's entirely a social one, it felt more personal. I could see a minor argument that anything I view as internal or personal is ultimately a cultural phenomenon and thereby social, but it's not one I'm ready to fully commit to

This is a very insightful statement. The only thing I'd offer as a counter point would be I can control my lines of communication, but not how they're interpreted. I took care of her because I thought it was the right thing to do, not because I was 'investing' in her. I'm not saying she shouldn't or I can't fathom how she'd interpret it as such, just that wasn't my intent. But I can definitely see how she'd see the prerogatives differently, thank you.

To be honest there's probably an element of cowardice to it.... But definitely not to the extent your inferring. The night of the diagnosis I told her something along the lines of " I'm not going to breal up with you because your sick, that'd make me an asshole. BUT, I need you to know I'm not going to stay with you because your sick, that's make me just as big of an asshole" I've already admitted (or I thought I did) that ideally I should have told her right from the moment she started saying I…

It wasn't that I wasn't interested.... That's too black and white. It was basically I really liked her, but I didn't love her. Plus the whole sick thing, like that's part of the whole mindfuck, attraction and love are multifaceted and complicated, there's a part of me that thinks if the timing was different I would have fallen in love with her, but suddenly her hair falls out and whatever you were feeling before is just ash in your mouth..... I still don't know why I stayed, maybe it was codepen…

Yeah I could see that. I don't think I can properly convey how screwed she was tho. Her family didn't help her at all, didn't even visit. She was first generation Chinese, so whenever her and her mom would talk on the phone idk what was said, but she got off the phone one morning in tears, her mom had said something to the effect that she should be ashamed that she was wasting my time helping her. That it was her fault she got sick and that it wasn't fair to me that I had to take care of her, an…

I geuss my answer (by my actions, rather than just the words your gonna get from most) is hell yeah its wrong, but by degrees. The guy doesn't owe her a relationship just because, or out of duty, that's absurd. But there's a whole lot of space between that and just completely leaving. That's what I did. It sure as shit wasn't fun, but it felt like the right thing to do. You can't stay with someone out of duty and nothing else, that's lying. Them having cancer doesn't really change that. I geuss …

Idk if this helps at all (since it's not really an answer) I dated a girl for 3 months, things were going great. Like the most intense puppy love I've ever had. One night I felt something wierd while we were screwing around. I MADE her get checked. Stage 3, breast cancer. Started chemo the next week. I told her I wasn't going anywhere, and I didn't. After another 2-3 months she started saying 'love you.' I didn't. I didn't love her. I knew she was sick and that made me want to lie but I didn't. …

This is it, my friend. This is the struggle. You are making progress, you are on the right track already. Keep doing what your doing. You (and I) will always have regressions, steps backwards on our path. Just keep stepping. Your still in your own head, just like I am. Try (I know it's hard) to be positive. Focus on what your doing right, not wrong. And do more of it. One of the things I've noticed about this whole process is how fine the lines are. Miniscule distinctions in intent or severity m…

Thank you for this. Not only because it mirrors my journey through life, but it just so happens I found this at a time in my life where I needed to, needed to be reminded. Recently had a bad breakup in my LongestTR and the way it happened had me all but ready to jump back into redpill BS. Thanks for this.

Damn! Yeah, again excellent clarification. Sorry, I think I'm using too broad strokes here and you keep hitting pay dirt with the nuance. That does still fit the narrative though, right? Like, the pussy or too nice guy is deriving too much of his value or self worth from the reciprocation of romantic feelings.... The Chad or alpha completely side steps the romance and seeks the same validation from sex, and purple pills trying that middle path, where you can recognize that a chick not responding…

Agreed dude. Both important clarifications/distinctions, especially the latter. Not all alphas are assholes, and i dont think all nice guys are betas. That's what I mean by shades of grey. I think alot of times these discussions fail to note that there's a difference between being a 'nice guy' and being a pussy.... I feel like redpill uses beta as a dirty word, pretty much like I'd use pussy, but that's like the extreme end of that spectrum, right? Like if your nice to a girl, and don't come off…

I think it's all shades of grey, right? Like a nice guy who is nice only to get something isn't really a nice guy, and women mostly are right to either mistrust him or not be interested in him. And men who are genuinely nice just to be nice with no expectations, probably aren't bothered by women not dating them or sexing them because they were nice..... And I'd bet they probably get it a fair amount anyway since it's not some sad bartering attempt at affection or attraction. Id like some feedbac…
