I think he was trying for some sort of butthurt attempt at humor. It didn't work out.

Quickest fix I can think of: find a strip club with lots of appealing women at a slow time. Do your diligence and pay them well, but concentrate on holding conversations with the strippers. Do this a few times, however long it takes until you notice results. It costs money and you won't get any lays out of it - not likely, anyway - but it can help your brain get over that 'beautiful woman shock'.

Excellent write-up, these are great points. A fox commands the respect of each hen in the henhouse - until the hound comes home.

Someone whacks you on the elbow as you have a drink raised to your face? Legitimate cause of irritation or anger. Reaction if it's an unknown person: what the fuck?!? Reaction if it's this girl you know: start a WTF, let it simmer down and say something along the lines of 'whoa, i was about ready to go to war there, next time let a guy know who it is!' You're not a pushover, but you don't fly off the handle for no reason. Future with this chick: if she brings it up, you can use the 'go to war' b…

Post threads & comments that comply with your own views. Make them good enough that others begin to agree with your way of doing things. Have people look at what you write and say, yeah, that Sandkasten guy really gets it. i should pay more attention to him. Continue to lead by example after this fashion. This is what men do.

Yep. One of the only ways for the modern, plugged-in male to get in touch with true manhood is through anger. It's terrible that this is true, but it is. Masculinity is aggression. Competition, conquest, fitness-testing humor, sometimes brutal confrontation - all this stems from aggression. Physical violence is the first thing most people think of when they hear someone described as 'aggressive,' and this can be part of it, but aggression really just describes the imposition of one's own will ov…

This is concern trolling. If you feel this way about the community, either don't participate in it or find a more productive way to change it. This is whining, and is not productive.

Feminine sexuality is submissive, is inviting, is an opening of the gate from within. Masculine sexuality is dominant, is aggressive, is pushing against the gate and throwing it open from without. With the values of the Feminine Imperative, magnified by Feminism, permeating Western and thus global society; with these values in mind, which sexuality causes more fear? Masculine, naturally. Women are afraid of masculine sexuality, and they train men to fear their own sexuality from childhood. A pro…

Ah...she's a "virgin"...got it. He didn't come inside me, so technically I'm still a virgin! You're totally right, you're sooo not a slut! Sometimes it just happens!

I've given this spectrum some more thought, and I've come up with some terms I think describe the most common combinations of Alpha/Beta traits in the spectrum. I'm looking for some feedback from other contributors before I start really expanding on this. 1. Lone Beta (AFC, Vox's Omega) The classic Average Frustrated Chump. He is Beta-aligned and is almost entirely supplicating toward women. Thus, he suffers little or no success in sexual relationships. He may give up on women altogether and 'go…

Good report, good observations. It's important to remember that 'Beta Bux' isn't only about money, it's about anything that can be considered a resource. If you give away your resources - like attention - easily, you've established a low-value frame. Resource guarding is a dominant behavior; it enhances your value.

Yeah, generally when I see commercials for this sort of crap, I just think why would I watch that? Curiosity got the better of me this time. Same reason I don't watch Ben Stiller comedies: people setting themselves up for severe discomfort and shame isn't entertaining.

Plus, social pressure toward an emotional reaction is typically a stronger motivator for women than men...wait, what am I saying? Men and women are exactly the same in all ways! This guy's just a jerk! /s Feminism hurts women just as much as it hurts men.

She's of the "I'll have my cake and eat it too" brand of feminism - she wants the perks of "equality," but also wants men to act as if they are in a dominant position and thus should look after women. Some animals are more equal than others; in this case, women.

You gotta read between the lines with all of this. When we talk about somebody being alpha, or wanting to be alpha, or beta, omega, whatever, what's meant is their behavior makes them so. I wholeheartedly agree with this. I guess my issue is just that some of us know this, but many take the labels at face value without looking deeper. My original post up top was provoked by a couple other threads in which "Alpha" and "Beta" weren't being properly understood, and by extension there was confusion …

You've reminded me why I don't like Vox's spectrum either. It's really hard not to fall into the trap of labeling the man and not the trait, and I've just done it again in my response to redpillschool above. But what actually matters, I think, is the presence of traits, not necessarily the label we assign to the man who exhibits them. People will exhibit them differently, and it's probably impossible to assign a label for every assignation of Alpha traits and Beta traits across a sample of men -…

When I say "equality", i mean in terms of showing this person respect as a human being. All human beings are equal in that they all deserve my respect, all deserve to be heard and taken seriously, and are equal in terms of how much their life is worth. I can't agree. There is a baseline of consideration warranted on the basis of humanity, but I hesitate to equate it with "respect". This consideration is why it's predominantly taboo to eat the flesh of dead humans - we recognize ourselves as a st…

Beta game isn't strictly attraction Fair point. I was probably over-generalizing to get at the semantic issue. More specific descriptors is something I'd like to see used more; it's easy for us to slip into the Alpha/Beta dichotomy, especially at first when the information is new and exciting and we recognize our former Blue Pill behaviors. But I've noticed it confuses things when the newbies are using this dichotomy, and some of the more advanced members are talking about positive Beta-provider…

Alright, I read those two articles...first: To submit to another human being is to yield or surrender (oneself) to the will or authority of another. Though some read that as “Yeah, a doormat!” I have to, in turn, ask them: are you a doormat when you follow your bosses commands at work? Is this seriously how you view a relationship? As a boss/employee relationship? That you can just fire your girlfriend for not follow directions properly, and that her role is to do so? I see by your clever use of…

sigh. So would the accusation "men overwhelmingly come in two categories..." have been more accurate? Alpha and Beta are labels assigned to traits exemplified by male actors within the sexual marketplace. Shorthand, we may refer to these actors by such a label if they trend toward one class of trait more than the other. Do you, and by extension TRP, not believe in systemic gender oppression continuing to be rampant though society? From the glass ceiling, to unequal pay, to the-ability-to-get-pre…

your observations apply to women predisposed to roller derby. don't make the mistake of thinking that sample represents all women. look at the underlying cause of these observations, and you'll be closer to understanding the feminine. the surface is unreliable.
