Since I’ve asserted that blogger FeministX has made some comments in disagreement w/OneSTDV and the HBD set and since commenter Too Tall Jones has asked to see a bit of proof, below I present a Mar 21 2010 post from her blog, called simply, “Statements Of Fact”; talk about taking someone out to the woodshed…whew!

“Statements of Fact

Fact: There are twice as many low IQ whites as there are low IQ blacks in this country.

There are 230 million whites. Approximately 15.8% have IQs below 85. That’s about 36 million people.

There are 37 million blacks. Approximately 50% have IQs below 85. Do the math.

If someone is bright, I don’t really care if they’ve got kinky hair and dark skin. I don’t even care about the mean dispositions their children might regress to. The HBD world’s excessive focus on the behavior of blacks is plain old racism they try to excuse with some studies even though HBD types are happy to ignore those same studies when the conclusions aren’t what they wish.

As others have said, blacks have been in this country during the whole ride up to the top. They didn’t ask to come here, and they didn’t prevent this country from becoming the world’s richest and most powerful. If you happen to be displeased with their aptitude, it’s only fair that you reserve twice as much ire for white proles since there are twice as many of them to cause problems. Half Sigma seems to be the only HBD blogger who is fair minded about this issue. Personally, I think it’s a waste of time to focus on the petty vices of the low IQ or the sympathy that liberals have for them. Eventually, the solution to the IQ disparity problem is going to be gene/hormone therapy which allows the children of low IQ people to develop the brains needed for high IQ functioning anyways.

OneSTDV wrote a post which is a prime example of HBD hypocrisy.

His basic assumption is that the school year should not be extended because it is part of what he calls, “the liberal war on childhood” (a thing which I call a delusion from OneS’s imagination). In this post he wants to believe that extending the school year cannot help the low IQ learn (on his blog, low IQ and NAM are synonymous). At the same time, he wants to believe that depriving the average IQ of family time is detrimental. This is how his mind works. Attempts to improve the lives of of the low SES are futile while minor environmental changes to the lives of the middle class are a problem.

While OneS claims that his beliefs are backed by decades of data, he balks when I requested the simplest forms of data that would support his thesis. I ask for data which shows the psychological damage caused by longer school years, and he thinks the request is ridiculous. I ask for data which shows that longer school years do not increase learning, and he has no interest in providing it. Instead he volleyed a series of ad hominems against me; one insult more absurd than the next. Because I pointed out the logical inconsistency between believing that an educational initiative that cannot alter the lives of NAMS can simultaneously alter the lives of AMs in a meaningful way, he called me a liberal creationist. Me? A liberal creationist, now? Because I ask for data which supports his conclusions, I was called, most ironically, an omega male. OK….It’s beautiful to insult someone who is not what you are by claiming that they are what you are. No, dear OneS. Unlike you, I don’t have any experience living as an omega male. That’s not a cheap insult. It’s just a statement of fact.
