Angry Black Woman

Thanks to one of my readers for turning me on to fellow blogger Ferdinand Bardamu’s post “Why Do Black Women Have To Be Such B*tches?”. I gotta tell ya, when I clicked on the YouTube video I burst out laughing so hard the neighbors thought something was wrong; then, when I was finally able to stop laughing so hard, I immediately thought about a certain young lady whom I addressed here at the O-Files recently. I leave it to my readers if they see any resembalance between what the video says and what you know who’s article says…

You know, I’ve always said that there was a reason – a  very, deeply profound reason – that Hip Hop, most notably its “Gangsta Rap” variant, has not only endured over all other forms of the artform, but has and continues to get howls of derision from the Sistahood; and that reason is because what the rappers are saying about a goodly portion of Black Women, is true.

*shrugs*

Remember ladies: if it don’t apply, let it fly.

I’m just sayin’…

Anyway, because it seems to be caught up in comment moderation, here’s what I said in reply to Ferd’s post:

Ferd,
LOL! I like this one, might go and post it up over at my blog sometime this weekend.

In the meantime though, here’s what I’ve been up to of late:

And finally, something I recently wrote that speaks most directly to the matter at hand:
