There is a certain amount of circular logic that goes with the idea that women pick the “Best man” and it goes like this:
A) Women mate with the Best man.
B) He is the Best man because women mate with him.
Round and round it goes. This is personally the way I view the sexy sons theory, it is a fancy way of dressing up circular reasoning.
Certainly there are attributes that can be used to describe the man that women like, Game is about that. The obvious ones are leadership, confidence, social ability, humor the list goes on.
Many of the attributes that women find attractive are good things, and things men can use and develop to make themselves more attractive and, perhaps, better men.
Some attributes are questionable for a man’s betterment, but they definitely work: Being dangerous, being an asshole, being uncaring, emotional and physically abusive, being a sociopath. The list goes on and on.
My point with Washington was that the man is what people would call a “paper alpha” especially in light of the way his contemporary, Benjamin Franklin, screwed his way through Europe and supposedly sired directly around 100 children give or take.
If it was a choice between Washington and Franklin, I would pick Franklin, but it would not be on that sole attribute but on all the other things he achieved. He was an alpha in all areas of his life.
Men do define the criteria about what the”Best man” is vastly different than women, they may overlap, but they are different, and the men that other men respect are the ones that make a difference in the world, they are the ones that accomplish things.
It leads me to one more quibble. Although I don’t agree with him on a lot of things, Anakin Niceguy has gone to great length about the problems with using “Real Man” (and I admit to a certain amount of saying “Be a man” about things).
I would suggest reading his posts on the subject. Telling people they are not a “real man” is female shaming language. And to be ironic for just a moment, being a man is not behaving like a nasty little entitlement princess bitch to each other.
We are born men.
Whether we are bold, or craven, strong or weak, good or evil, we are all still men. Some of us are better men, some of us are worse, but we are men, and we should not fall into the trap of defining it for other people or being defined by other people.
That path leads to the feminism disgust with men, crossed with the code of chivalry of the conservatives, both of which place men beneath women. Being a man cannot, and should not be defined in relation to women, or by women or for women.
They do not deserve that kind of power. They do not have that right. We are the gender that sacrifices, we are the gender that builds civilizations. It is men that should be revered, not women.
Game changes everything. I believe that. It is the red pill. If you understand game, you understand the relationship of the sexes, and if you understand that, you understand the flaws and corruption of the system. You see all the lies of our society stand out in stark and sudden relief. You see beneath the pretty surface to what lies beneath.
Game is invaluable. Being attractive to women is invaluable, however you use that knowledge, but it is not the end for a man, it is not all there is unless you choose it to be.
James Bond, if you take away all his supposed talents and abilities, take away the adventure, you are left with just a soft porn movie.
We are more than porn. We are more than what are society says we are, but it for each of us to define, our society has forsaken us, their power to say what we are is gone.
Don’t be so quick to put the shackles on each other.
