This week is a documentary called The King of Kong, a fistfull of quarters. The movie follows an average beta guy who decides to master the game of Donkey Kong after he get’s laid off from his job. What he didn’t realize is that even the video game nerds have a social hierarchy and don’t take kindly to interlopers.
This movie is chock a block full of social awkwardness, sycophants, wannabes, and lots of social jockeying from a group of men that have little or no real status in life. A fun and entertaining movie.
