Beauty is important, but for a LTR it is not enough.

Virtue is a good thing is a woman.  I am not knocking it, it is a rare thing.  It is an important thing in a long term relationship, but it is not enough either.

Though what is the definition of virtue?  Is it merely being chaste?  Finding a chaste girl will help with bonding over the long term, or perhaps in this day and age I should say a woman with few partners and those were all long term ones.

If you can find an actually chaste woman, that may present a whole different host of problems for the man in an LTR.  If she is chaste, she may bery well have a problem with her own sexuality.  It is a curious bind that a man may find himself in, that a woman with a strong sexual appetite that would meet his physical drives, will not be a woman that is good over the long term, but a woman that may be able to stay with the man may not satisfy.

There is the other problem of temptation.  A woman that is chaste that gets married, if she is attractive is going to be tempted at some point.  There is no way to avoid this in a LTR.  She may feel that she did not sow her oats when she was young.  One should not discount this in picking an LTR.  That message is loud and clear in our society that women should have fun. (ie sleep around a lot)

So among all the women, if you are seeking a long term relationship you are looking for beauty (you have to be attracted to her) , the ability to bond with you (few sexual partners, less than 3 is optimal) with a decent sexual appetite.  Already we are in rare territory here.

Is this though, enough?

No, it is not.

Certainly there is more to virtue than chastity.  What other virtues would you place there?  Religious, perhaps.

Being religious is no guarantee that the woman will be virtuous, far from it.

There are other qualities that a woman must have to make her a decent companion.  Loyalty is the top of this list.

I have friends that are married to beautiful, blond, Mormons that take there religion seriously.  That were reasonably chaste.  However, these women will say nasty things about their husbands to their friends and others.  This is not loyalty.  Women will say it is expressing their emotions and is healthy.

It is not healthy.  It is corrosive.

Saying bad things about a person begets more things to say about someone.  Airing faults simply provides the expression of more faults and more fault finding.

So now we have relatively chaste, beautiful, sexual, religious and loyal to the list.  The chance of finding this is even smaller.

Is this enough?

No.

If you want children, and lets assume that you do, then they need to be good with children.  All women think they are good with children.  Only a portion of them are.

So now we have chaste, beautiful, sexual, loyal, religious and a good mother.

Is this enough?

No.

Kind and generous, are both parts of virtue I would say.  Why be with a woman for the LTR if she is a complete bitch.  I have known men that had a woman that was chaste, beautiful, religious, a decent mother (I can’t say how loyal she was or how sexual) but she still did the crazy shit tests that all women do and drove her husband nuts.

In a LTR you will always have shit tests.  Always.

The list now for a LTR is relatively chaste, beautiful, sexual, loyal, religious, a good mother, kind and generous.

Is this enough?

No.

If you are going to be with this woman over the long term, and that’s the idea, then she better be fun, she better have a sense of adventure and willing to try new things, she better be smart and fun to talk to.  None of these things are virtues, but they are essential.

So now we have relatively chaste, beautiful, sexual, loyal, religious, a good mother, kind and generous, fun, willing to try new things, smart and fun.

Now I throw out there how many women like this are there in our society.  Truly?

Women that are worthy of a long term relationship.  Someone that has all these qualities?

There are none.

Which is why I say LTR game is for men that are already in a relationship trying to save themselves.

Me?

I’m hunting unicorns.

The odds are better.
