Continuing with posts about news stories. Today we have this story from the AP about the evolution of the Y chromosome. Seems it has evolved faster than the rest of the human genome. Which if you consider the historically higher attrition rate for men and also the lower reproductive participation rate for men, it makes sense.
There’s even a line by the lead scientist, a woman, wanting everyone to know that their findings do not mean men are more evolved than women.
