Sure the book is a defense of monarchy, but it is also the beginning of the idea of a social contract between each individual and society.
The contract goes both ways too. Our society is busy destroying the social contracts and the results will inevitably be collapse, violence, anarchy and an tyranny and not the way the liberals and feminists think its going to go with them “reordering ” society according to their whims.
Such is the hubris of women and renfields.
