I caught the story on the local news last night. A sixteen year old girl, about a 5 in the looks department (could have been higher but she carried a few extra pounds), was followed during her appointment to have the veneers attached to her teeth. Lots of vapid emotional responses to the reporters questions about why she was getting the fangs. The obligatory cut away to scenes from the Twilight movies showing three main characters. At the end of the story, the girl comes out from the back of the dentists office to her mother waiting for her in the lobby. The mother gives her daughter celebratory high five slap and tells her the fangs look “awesome!”
While I think getting these things is totally a waste of money and a rather stupid gesture, it did occur to me that there may be a side benefit for all the aspiring gamesmen out there.
