In my surfing on the Internet I usually found pieces of truth in strange places, take this post in a WoW blog. The author, although abrasive, in his blog tries to explain how to make gold in WoW and how it relates to real world economies, he admits that a MMO for 12+ years old isn’t the best economy simulator, but people are dumb in the Internet and the real world. Anyways, the specific is an answer to an e-mail from Peter that says:
To every “person of subnormal intelligence”, including Gevlon who think that savings should be made by anyone with a brain and a job regardless of circumstances so that in case of unemployment shit doesn’t happen: you are wrong! I, personally earn twice as much as the average salary in my country, my wife is at home with two kids (1,5y and 3y), kindergartens “sponsored” by the state are full, she earns some family allowance for a few months, and we spend almost 100% of the money we get. No way to save unless I would let my standard of living fall to the level of animals (eating junk food every day and wearing chinese lowest budget crap of a clothing). And we don’t live in black Africa or inner Asia, we’re in fucking EU!
I’m going to tear a new one to this guy later (don’t write stuff on the Internet that expose your stupidity), but the author, Gevlon does a really good job in his post. Seriously, read it.
Back? Ok, to my take (Warning: Curses ahead).
Why the fuck a man gets in the same petty, banal and stupid one-up contest of women, huh? I mean, seriously, everything under your over-the-top standard is the “level of animals”? I wonder in what kind of pretty bubble idiots like you are raised, because even with a recession every one can and should save money (and savings are your boat when shit hits the fan and you get layoff, and you will).
Perhaps it’s me, that was raised with parents that got a house and two cars FROM NOTHING with hard work and savings, but I truly don’t understand status whores. And is not an isolated case. With welfare money I see guys with a Plasma TV and a huge Chevrolet Blazer living in houses of zinc and paperstone, I kid you not. And, like we all know, alimony and child support cash is mostly expended in makeup and expensive clothes. Perhaps if those people earned that money they wouldn’t expend it like retards, I mean even other college students that have to work and study have savings (and they don’t ride in that Vanity parade).
It makes me sad, that elemental stuff like hard work and saving, things that are thought in The Bible and, in past times, any home with low resources, things that are basic male values, are exchanged for sucking the Governmental tits for cash, which is a Marxist strategy, and one that creates disgusting human beings. I’m not saying that people shouldn’t have luxuries, but a reasonable budget isn’t that hard to do.
