The notorious 9th Circuit US Court of Appeals has given the go-ahead for a gender discrimination lawsuit against Wal-Mart on behalf of more than a million women. The settlement could run well into the billions, which must have a battalion of attorneys salivating at the potential windfall. Originally filed by six women in San Francisco in 2001, the lawsuit has taken on gargantuan proportions. Lead attorney Brad Seligman has accused the company of discriminating against women on an ongoing basis, sweeping as many women as possible into the class action suit.

Wal-Mart spokesmen have been prostrating themselves before the feminist juggernaut, claiming that they have always given preferential treatment to female employees, but apparently there will be no mercy, as punitive damages are still on the table. Already struggling in the recession, this lawsuit could be a crippling blow to the retail giant.

If the suit is successful, it could open the doors to scores of similar class action suits brought on behalf of women against successful corporations, providing huge profits to attorneys and their female clients. In fact, it could even be seen as analogous to the lucrative field of family law, in which women – in league with their attorneys – can consume all of a man’s life work in one fell blow. If this suit becomes standard practice across the US, there will be a corporate slaughter the likes of which has never yet been seen.

Unfortunately, almost all corporations have either supported or turned a blind eye to the ravages inflicted on men and children by the rise of feminism, so for those of us men who have already lived through the holocaust of feminist family law it may be difficult to sympathize with Wal-Mart. On a positive note, a lawsuit running into the billions will not pass by unnoticed by corporate titans, and we may see a new hostility to feminism emerge amongst the moneyed class.
