In Pro-Male/Anti-Feminist Tech’s latest article, Misandry In The Depopulation Agenda Conspiracy Theory, the comment thread got off into a little tangent regarding conspiracy theory about whether or not feminism is or is not indeed a movement primarily about population control. While it is an interesting debate, one fact remains: the primary means of spreading feminist ideology around the world is through the U.N.’s NGOs.
Many assistance programs offered to impoverished third world countries are offered by the U.N. organizations like the IMF, WHO etc. with “Strings attached.” Often times, these ‘Strings” are feminist policy proscriptions – allowing the UN NGO’s to administer birth control and/or abortion “services”, before the assistance is allowed to be “given.”
This has also lead to a clash of opposing ideologies – the liberal, feminist morality that is diametrically opposed to countries who’s populations are still practitioners of patriarchal-based, mono-theistic religion.
Reason magazine recently posted an article about women’s rights in Iran. In it, Iranian feminists protested that the ruling regime of Iran has refused to sign the UN’s CEDAW:
The letter refers to Iranian laws that gender-equality groups say discriminate against women. These include statutes relating to such matters as divorce, child custody, education, and the ability to choose a husband.
Women have been “arrested, beaten, and imprisoned for peacefully seeking change of such laws,” the letter says. “The Iranian government will certainly use [CSW membership] to curtail the progress and advancement of women.”
Look at what the Iranian feminsts are citing when they refer to discrimination and “advancement” with regards to CEDAW: “…divorce, child custody, education, and the ability to choose a husband.”
Let’s review the stated purpose of CEDAW:
The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), adopted in 1979 by the UN General Assembly, is often described as an international bill of rights for women. Consisting of a preamble and 30 articles, it defines what constitutes discrimination against women and sets up an agenda for national action to end such discrimination.
Now, granted, most rational men of the West don’t support the Iranian regimes supposed enforcement of feminist oppression (the Reason article has the pictures of women being beaten and executed for their offenses), nevertheless, it’s plainly obvious that the UN Feminist agenda is clearly an agenda of exporting the exact same policies the feminists have promoted in the West: abortion rights, no-fault divorce, default child custody for women.
The religious-based countries look at our popular culture, our portrayal of promiscuous women and the resulting broken homes…and they want no part of it. While many practices of vastly different cultures are barbaric when viewed through the lense of Western ideology, the UN feminists merely highlight these sorts of abuses as the justification for exporting the ENTIRE feminist agenda to a given country or culture.
Under the guise of combating the practices of foreign cultures such as widows being burned on their husband’s funeral pyres, beatings for immodesty, execution for adultery, having the misfortune of being raped resulting in “honor-killings,” or female genital circumcision — which most Westerner’s would agree are all barbaric and abuses of women’s basic human rights — the UN feminists conflate “equality” — the right for women to abort their children at will, default child custody, the right to no-fault divorce, and all the other society-wide corrupting aims of Western feminism – with fighting all of the other barbaric cultural practices of third-world countries.

Ahhhhh yes. Because everyone knows TRADITIONAL FAMILIES is nothing more than abuse, torture, murder and enslavement of women!
The Feminists that played a pivotal role in implementing their misandrist, patriarchy-destroying (i.e. family destroying) policies here in the West, are trying to do the same thing to the rest of the world through the U.N.
