Linda Lusk, who held a term as mayor of Prosser, Washington, initiated a relationship with a student at Prosser High School, where her husband is principal. She frequently sent the boy steamy text messages and communicated with him on Facebook, eventually luring him to her house where she engaged in various acts with him. The boy told some friends about it, and when word got around the police contacted the boy’s parents, then handed the case over to the sheriff’s office due to potential conflicts of interest arising from her political career.
Lusk is 49 years old and a mother of four.
The boy’s parents were unavailable for comment, but his uncle said that she’d frequently lure groups of boys to her house for pool parties, where she would flirt with the boys and show off her breasts. He also said that the boys were reluctant to talk to police, because they didn’t want to “ruin her life,” adding that although he’d like to feel sorry for her, he still wants to see her prosecuted.
Most of all, the uncle felt sorry for the woman’s husband and daughter.
