In this dust-up in Seattle, not far from where I live, a young woman is shown fighting a cop as he struggles to maintain control without using excessive force. When her friend intervenes, the cop lets her have it in the face. I wonder whether NOMAS and Men as Peacemakers would approve? Would they step between the cop and this fine young lady?
As a guy, I know that I’d likely be tased or shot for the same level of resistance/aggression, but these girls have no such fear. The irony of it is that there’s a good chance the exact same girls here who are cursing and fighting this cop will call the police to use them against some man in their lives at some point.
This is why being a cop is such a lousy job.
