Feministing is cheering on this unfortunate documentary produced by some kids in New York, in which a boy who seems to have gender identity disorder (yes, it is a real disorder) is portrayed as combatting “stereotypes.” The title Feministing chooses to give it is “Beyond snakes and snails and puppydog tails.”
From the title, it seems that they think this is a trend to be encouraged, and represents what males should become. If Bob Connell and his buddies at NOMAS have their way, they might actually mandate that boys dress in pink and talk like girls. I’m sure that would please feminists to no end.
If anyone thinks I’m exaggerating, recall the anti-racism class one teacher promulgated that encouraged singling out blue-eyed children for abuse. Does anyone actually believe that boys will be immune from this kind of selective abuse given the climate feminists have created?
The video’s below. I feel no malice toward little Merlin, but the hard truth is that he’s not a normal little boy, and trying to get other boys to behave as he does would be dysfunctional and inappropriate.
