Men’s News Daily, a popular online men’s magazine, is closing down after nine years of reporting on men’s issues, politics and the general insanity that has come to characterize gender relations in the United States. Staunchly anti-feminist and unapologetically pro-male, the site has helped create and inform a community of men and supportive women who have gone on to spread the word and offer important resources to those who are coming in from the cold reality of state-sponsored misandry. Publisher Mike LaSalle, a California native, has established himself as a pioneer in online activism for men, bringing us the work of many insightful writers, editors and professionals who have exposed Governance Feminism for the harmful, unnatural and intrusive regime it has become.

Although I was only dimly aware of MND when I started The Spearhead along with other contributors, I soon found that the old guard of online men’s activism was already well established there, and we were fortunate enough to benefit from some cross-pollination of ideas and writing from men who had previously contributed to MND, including Spearhead contributors Paul Elam and Zed.

Mike LaSalle is shifting his efforts to Hawaii, where he will focus on Hawaiian politics and news with the site Hawai’i News Daily.

Although I don’t know Mike personally, I’d like to wish him success with HND and give him a hand for running a popular, influential site for most of the last decade. His efforts deserve both praise and respect, and will be remembered as a great example of how a man can make a difference through determination and professionalism.

Aloha, Mike.
