Law student Jay Batman has recently challenged the readers of the “anti-authoritarian” blog Gonzo Times in a ballsy debate about feminism. He calls himself an “anarcho-misogynist” in this seminal essay:

His posts and defenses contain some of the most lucid and inspired writing on contemporary gender conflict I’ve seen this year. Many of his co-authors and readers seem to be white-knighting him and regurgitating a lot of the received and unquestioned feminist ideology that is a given on the radical left. Jay Batman identifies as a libertarian, and as a lot of Spearhead readers seem to be libertarian to some degree, I think you’ll find a lot to like.
Further, as still more readers—myself occasionally included—tend to take a “break the system and start over” approach to what appears to be Western decline, his interactions with left-anarchists will be educational. One follow up comment I found particularly interesting was this one, by the site’s editor PunkJohnnyCash (who has a real spiffy moniker and avatar that I approve of):
I made a post back in October asking why it seemed our ranks are full of mostly white males.
Comically, this is also a frequent topic of discussion on the far right. The simple answer is that the immediate interests of women–at least as most women perceive them–are being served by the status quo. Women were radical when they wanted radical change for themselves, but women pretty much got what they wanted. Most companies have anti-discrimination policies and females make up more than 50% of the work force. In fact, aside from a relative handful of ideological purists, women from Hanna Rosin to Oprah Winfrey are declaring victory everywhere. Rosie the riveter has come a long way, baby.
The popular complaints from feminists these days are that men aren’t providing them with enough support, that men aren’t committing fast enough, that men spend too long in “guyland” or that their men cook too well, or that their men have become “kitchen bitches.” It is now men who are falling behind in many ways, and men on the far left seem to have trouble keeping up to date with their feminism. They’re rushing to the defense of women who make more money than they do, using scripts that haven’t changed since the 1970s. While I’m sure the anarchist left probably attracts more female participants than the radical right, it seems like they still feel like women aren’t as interested.
Fewer women are interested in bringing down the system because more women like things just the way they are. They believe they have more to gain from a big government (free or affordable healthcare, entitlement programs, cheap and easy access to birth control and abortions and the means to force men to provide for their offspring through child support or welfare) than they do from toppling a state that offers security and promises them the opportunity to enjoy a nearly unprecedented quality of life. The glass ceiling doesn’t much matter to everyday women with average IQs. The average woman is living higher on the hog in the postmodern, globalist, feminist, multiculturalist West than she ever has. The chaos of revolution puts all of that in jeopardy.
You say you want a revolution…
Yeah…well, women don’t.

The intent here is not to send a bunch of Spearhead readers to harass the readers of Gonzo Times. In fact, my personal preference is that they work through their own debate without some kind of external ideological conflict stoking the fire and putting everyone on the defensive. I just wanted to draw attention to this development and to Jay Batman’s highly quotable writing. If anything, write him to show your support. He’s obviously a smart guy, and not just because I generally agree with him.
