A 15-year-old Mason County Washington girl used a hunting bow to shoot her father after he took her cell phone in a disciplinary measure. The girl refused to allow her wounded father use of the phone to call for help, and then fled into the woods with a full quiver, whereupon she was surrounded by a SWAT team and arrested without further incident.
The girl was reportedly “despondent” when arrested, and is currently being held at a local children’s hospital pending clearance to be booked into a juvenile detention facility.
