A friend of mine is a defense attorney who asked me whether there is any financial incentive for law enforcement to arrest men (as opposed to women) in domestic disturbance calls. This would seem to be a blatantly sexist policy, but then again VAWA is a blatantly sexist law, so I think it’s possible.
