Randall Shake, who is one of our own, died a couple days ago, and a memorial page has been set up at the Nice Guy forum to put in a good word for him. He died at age 55, and left behind five children. His nephew Dan broke the news. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
Too many men pass anonymously, their efforts forgotten and their work unappreciated. Let’s show our respect for Randall and his support, and show each other that we care enough to honor those who have passed.
When more details become available I’d be happy to post a memorial here, but I’ll wait until I hear from friends or family.
Until then, let’s remember that we owe it not just to ourselves, but to men who have come and gone, and men yet to come, to work for a better, more just world.
