Once, about 15 years ago, I took my son into day surgery in Central Ontario, to have his shattered kneecap pinned back together.

The day surgery waiting area was crowded with middle aged women and several men. None of the men would make eye contact with anyone else, all just looked at the floor. The middle aged women were sitting quietly or quietly gossiping.

When my son’s surgery was finished and he was coming out of anesthesia, I was told to go to the recovery room. He was the only male. Everyone else was a young woman, mainly teenagers. The behavior of the women coming out of surgery varied. One Filipina with a wedding ring, was crying that she wanted to get back to her children as quickly as possible. One of the local white trash told her to shut up it was no big deal, because she (the white trash) had already had four ‘procedures’ prior to this one. Most of the teenagers complained about abdominal pain, but one made serious attempt to flirt with my son, despite his grogginess.

I figured out what day it was. It was abortion day in the only facility that provides abortions between Toronto and Ottawa.

I was still pretty blue pill then, but realized that the men who had brought their wives, girlfriends, or daughters in to get an abortion knew deep down inside that they had failed as men. It seems to be a deep seated primal urge that men want to protect women and children. Being seen as a hero afterwards is an additional perk. If a man supports the abortion of his child or grandchild, he somehow knows that not only has he failed, but is also complicit in evil. One can often hear manginas loudly proclaim their support for ‘freedom of choice’, but the very volume of their claims makes it seem that they are trying harder to convince themselves than their listeners.

I have often wondered why feminists kick hard against any attempt to regulate abortion. If a State legislature attempt to impose licensing requirements, require a recovery room and resuscitation equipment, or require that only licensed practitioners only perform abortions, the abortion lobby will kick and scream against it. It is because the abortion license is not about women’s freedom. If it was NOW would protest the compulsory abortions in China. It is not to relieve a woman of the life altering consequences of an inconvenient pregnancy. It is not about preventing the horrors of Dr. Kermit Gosnell.

The abortion lobby says they want to destroy patriarchy. That is the rule of fathers. They really mean it! Every dead fetus is one more blow against the patriarchy, it is one more nail in the closing coffin of the very real and very male desire of a man to have his own wife and children to support and sacrifice for. We also desire respect and admiration for building and protecting our families. The father/patriarch may not have much of a kingdom, it could be a two bedroom in the projects, or it could be a mcmansion in a pleasant leafy suburb, but it is his.

Abortion positive feminism is destroying this. Abortion is only the most politically visible means to destroy patriarchy. Since 1973, every state now allows no-fault divorce. Any would be patriarch can have his little kingdom destroyed on a whim with the destroyer’s ‘girlfriends’ egging her on every step of the way. As an aside, to the men reading this, can anyone say that they have encouraged another man to seek divorce, except in the most extreme circumstances?

Many or most states recognize ‘marital rape’. Prior to ‘marital rape’ laws, it was considered that husbands and wives belonged to each other and had claims upon each other. However, it was considered assault if she really put up a fight. But with ‘marital rape’ a husband always has a sword of Damocles hanging over his head. It destroys his patriarchal claim upon her, but she still has claim on the fruit of his labour.

Abortion, no-fault divorce, and marital rape are the legal pry bars to destroy patriarchy. The social aspects are even more pernicious. Check out almost all commercials for the depiction of fathers. We are all bumbling fools, barely tolerated by the smart, empowered wife, and the wise children. The only commercials that show men in a positive light are those for man things, like trucks. How many wives and children are with the man in these commercials?

The churches are also participating in the destruction of patriarchy. Check out Dalrock’s commentary on the movie ‘Fireproof’. I once saw an article about how Jesus provides all of a woman’s needs, lifts her up, and makes her feel special. The article ended with the wish that their husbands could be just like Jesus. Jesus is also Judge. Would the authoress be willing to accept criticism from her husband without getting defensive? That article was an example of emotional and spiritual adultery, and because it involves an imaginary ‘boyfriend’ Jesus, it is also blasphemous. But almost no pastors or laymen will call it what it is.

This leads to the media phenomenon of herbivores in Japan. There have been a few media stories about this of late, but because it is the media, I hesitate to guess how true it is. The North American version is MGTOW and PUA. There have been articles asking why men won’t leave the house, put down the video games, get jobs (good luck with that), and marry those sluts girls. In other words, why won’t they try to be patriarchs? Well patriarchy is on its sick bed.

I am not sure that I, a baby boomer, have much useful advice to give to the younger men. After all I grew up in a country in which abortion, homosexuality, and artificial contraception were all illegal before 1969. I do advise that almost all Christian relationship advice is useless. Ian Ironwood’s ‘Red Pill Room’ is a good source, as are Dalrock and the ‘Rational Male’. Even Chateau Heartiste (Roissy) has useful information, but a Christian man should pay attention to his observations, but do not follow his morals. For those who wish to start their own little patriarchal kingdom have a read of http://www.thumotic.com/2013/01/08/how-to-find-a-wife/ . Our society is so misandric that the author does advise to keep in mind that you may fail, but if you accept the task, accept it with manly courage.
