Intro

Just as I foretold back in August of 2022, Christian Mysticism is slowly rising.

But it is, apparently, a hard White Pill to swallow for many, especially those who cling fast to Sola Scriptura and/or a post-modern, Feministic, Positivist outlook.  (But ever since Dalrock et al. exposed the church’s convergence with Feminism, I wonder, what are the apparent differences anymore?)

Maybe this resistance to mysticism is less obvious to readers, so here’s my view of it.

Christian Convulsions

Schisms have appeared all over the Christian ‘sphere since 2023.

G Filotto lambasted Bruce Charlton, and then Gunner Q and a couple of writers at the Orthosphere hit back at G Filotto (2023/5/23).

Derek Ramsey has taken issue with many things written on Σ Frame, even going so far as to intentionally derail the discussions.

Gunner Q accused Catacomb Resident of heresy. (I wrote a lengthy reply here.)

Later in 2023, Gunner Q3 wrote an essay, Disrespecting the Masters (2023/11/29), in his inimitable style, criticizing a piece by William Wildblood on the topic of “spiritual guides”, or “masters” as they are called. (I think the term “guardian angels” might have been better received.)

Wildblood responded to Gunner’s take-down in his Reply to Gunner Q (2023/11/29).

Adam Piggott summed up the contention and supported Gunner Q in Masterful Pride (2023/12/2) [Archive].

Strangely, many of these posts (those with no link available), including Filotto’s and Piggott’s whole blogs, have been wiped from the web since then, including the web archives.  (Update: Adam Piggott moved to Substack.)

But why?  What is there to hide? Was Filotto facing real life persecution? Was he cancelled? (I don’t know the answers.)

Apparently, the Based / Christian Manosphere is censoring ITself. But why?

Secular Convulsions

As a possibly related side note, these convulsions are not limited to the Christian Sphere. Similar animosities have happened in the secular sphere.

  • Andrew Tate and his guys have been the undivided focus of rank candor among conservatives and liberal Feminists alike, even calling him the face of the Manosphere. (A humorous remark going around is that men should assume every woman can be likened unto Bonnie Blue, as a ‘fair’ comparison.)
  • Pearl Davis (JustPearlyThings) had a falling out with some of her noted guests and was later demonetized on YouTube.
  • In a recent discussion (2025/11/3), the naïvely curious Tucker Carlson fell in with the suavely evasive Chris Williamson to discuss every social problem common to man EXCEPT the divorce industry — an obstreperous denial, as noted by Stephen Baskerville.
  • Many others not listed here for the sake of brevity.

Is the secular sphere falling into the spirit of quarrelling occurring in the Christian Sphere, or is it vice versa? Or is ALL of this conflict being caused by a cosmic and perhaps divine stirring of cataclysmic confusion and wrath?

Speculations

All this leads us to wonder, what’s going on in the cosmic realm?

I haven’t formed a working hypothesis (yet), but I have a few guesses.

  1. Does it have something to do with the Red Pill going mainstream, such that Red Pill personalities are now feeling comfortable enough to sling hash at each other?
  2. I’ve noticed that most of the major contentions in the Christian sphere are between radically independent thinking mystics vs. Bible defending traditionalists. So it might have something to do with inappropriate presumptions about the level of authority of Christian Mysticism. That is, some are ascribing a broader authority to Mysticism than what is intended or warranted. In this case, anything Mystical is interpreted apropos as anti- or non-Scriptural, and therefore heretical, without any recognition that Mystical revelations are often deeply personalized, and are NOT necessarily to be taken as an official doctrine for the masses, but are merely mediums of insight, prophecies, and/or vectors of awareness. As an apt comparison and perhaps a topic of debate, is it possible to have a nocturnal dream that is heretical? Or is it merely an expression of one’s deeper subconsciousness?
  3. Current Christian Mysticism, even the common variety that we would label ‘musings’, proffers content that is just too esoteric and Wə!rD (or rather, anti-WEIRD biased, TBH) for some folks to swallow.
  4. Following (3), Mystical musings don’t align with the postmodern standards of Science and/or Scripture based argumentation, and are therefore unable to be tackled in either manner. This is certainly a source of frustration and irritation for those well-versed in Science and Scripture.
  5. Following (4), Mystical revelations are NOT ‘defensible’ in the typical style of Aristotelian debate, because it is based on faith and personal revelation, and NOT on reason, or even scripture necessarily, or anything that is cite-able as a doctrinal or ¡Sc!əNt!f!c! authority.  It is its OWN authority, but only to the recipient and to those who can understand the specific, contextual, nuanced viewpoint. (It is left to the reader to determine whether it undergirds his faith, or else means nothing at all.)

Readers are invited to chime in as to which explanation you believe rings true, or if you have another to add. Probably more than one are valid.

Closing

This month, we’ll take a closer look at Christian / Mystical Awareness and see how it is a natural expression of faith that appears when sound reason is flatly rejected (via Feminism / W0kism, or Post Truth Modernism, or verificationism), and societal law and order recedes from the hegemonic social dominance of Gynocivnattery.*

* Gynocivnattery: A new neologism (coined by yours truly) that sarcastically refers to actions or behaviors that a feminist / gynocentric society considers to be “civil”, in spite of the obvious negative consequences. These behaviors include cancelling, doxxing, excessive female pedestalization, femcentric / W0ke ressentimentalism, performative chivalry, prejudicial bias against men, the rejection of sound reason, ¡$c!əNt!$M!, shaming, silencing, and social shunning, among many others.
