Intro

I’m sure readers have already seen many articles and videos about “The Great Feminization”, which is basically a culture shock wave generated from women who are beginning to notice the chilling downstream effects of Feminism, i.e. Men withdrawing from all intersexual enterprises (e.g. dating, marriage) and mixed sex spaces (e.g. bars, clubs, corporate workplace environments, etc.), and/or who are belatedly realizing the wisdom of ye olde Men’s Rights Activists, as well as other Men’s groups who have lamented the downfall of the West via Feminism and W0kism over the past three decades.

While the whole interwebz is spun into a sticky web of wide-eyed bewilderment, my response is…

So. What.

I left this comment at Spawny’s Space:

Re: The Great Feminization (TGF)

Pardon my impertinence, but…

I don’t understand why this topic is making such a splash.

The Manosphere saw this happening long before cancel culture hit in 2018.

We saw it happening in businesses. Farm Boy noted this in several posts.

We saw it happening in the church. Dalrock wrote all about that.

We saw it happening in government. Vox Day covered that.

We saw it happening in schools. See Wintery Knight.

We saw it happening in the SMP and online. I, Deti, and NovaSeeker went over all that at Σ Frame.

So NOW, fiiinaaalllyyyy… a decade after the fact, people are saying, “Oh WOW! Now that wimminz are running the entire culture, everything is a race to the bottom! Oh, noez!”

Spare me the drama.

I can only guess that MGTOW and the mass exodus of men leaving the plantation have the PTB in a tizzy, hence the “uhfishul” airplay.”

Because a Woman Said So!

The current rave over The Great Feminization is apparently about an article written by Helen Andrews at Compact, The Great Feminization (2025/10/16).  However, a little research reveals that Helen Andrews was merely covering a book by the same name, written by J. Stone and published well over 3 years earlier (2022/4/30) [Amazon].

So again, why did this only blow up NOW, and not back in 2022 when Stone first published this book?

Farm Boy said,

“Part of it is that a chick is saying it. Another thing is that it is packaged in one place.

And, of course, it is NOT an !ncel saying it. Or at least somebody who is presumed to be an !ncel.”

Oh.  So NOW that WOMEN are talking about it, NOW people are beginning to listen?!?

To those idiots who only listen to women, but NOT men

Read Genesis 3:17, Genesis 16:1-5, and 1 Kings 16:30-34, and learn what happens when men listen to women and follow after their jolly folly.

Yew litereally were asking for this.  We wouldn’t have ended up nowhere if yew had listened to MRA, the Manosphere, et al.  But no.

Heads in the Sand.

Because Women Most Affected!

Farm Boy also shared Clifton Duncan’s answer to the titular question, written in response to Helen Andrews’ piece at Compact: The Great Feminization (2025/10/16).

“The only reason people are talking about “The Great Feminization” now is because it’s affecting women.

Men young and old have been talking about it for decades.

For decades, boys and men have had their desires dismissed; had fathers denigrated and denied them; had their spaces, interests and hobbies invaded; had primary and higher education weaponized against them; had jobs and promotions unjustly denied them; had reputations ruined by false allegations; watched pop culture fester with anti-male slop; had wealth and progeny stripped away by prejudiced family courts.

What happened when they voiced these complaints?

They were called misogynists, resentful of their inability to match women’s success as they seethed over the dismantling of the patriarchy.

They were called losers, whiners, and complainers who should shut up, grow up, man up and get married.

But now—

As men avoid women at work, or withdraw from the labor force altogether; as men leave the church; as men abandon dating and marriage; as men reciprocate women’s embrace of modernism and rejection of traditionalism; and as womanhood faces erasure, ironically (but predictably) at the hands of the very liberals and progressives, women celebrate for hatcheting away manhood and masculinity—

Only now, as the consequences of treating women’s needs as all that matter and men’s needs as superfluous (and offensive) are evident,

Only now, as men usher in a new sexual revolution by unapologetically focusing on themselves and their own happiness, refusing to serve a society that’s signaled repeatedly that it no longer values them and prompting more and more women to wonder “Where Have All the (Good) Men Gone?”

Only now has it become safe for *women* to broach the topic of “The Great Feminization” and be lavished with acclaim for making the exact same points men have been chastised for making for over 25 years.

Symbolic.”

Because Sin and Solipsism

I don’t entirely believe the “Because a Woman said so!” or the “Because Women Most Affected!” explanations for why “The Great Feminization” now hits home in 2025. I think it’s all a justification after the fact that retroactively assigns power to women to decide when a sea change is to be noticed and/or effected. I’m not saying there’s no truth to this viewpoint, but by taking this stance, we are admitting that women have held the majority of power all along, and that men have sat poolside and enjoyed the decline, perhaps even pining for a prime piece of the peach pie.

In summary, the overall reason why The Great Feminization as a topic is only surfacing NOW and not before is because of the Sin, Solipsism, and Stupidity of men and women alike, allowing it to fester and go unchecked for this long.

Looking back in hindsight, what more could we have done to right this sinking ship back when it was still salvageable (over 20 years ago, I guess)?
