Analyzing a common byword used against Christianity and The Red Pill.

Intro

‘Weaponizing’ is the last subtopic that I’ll set forth in this study of Problems with The Red Pill.

I’ve often heard or read that Christianity is ‘weaponized’ or The Red Pill is ‘weaponized’.  Whatever does it mean?

‘Weaponizing’ is a rather new word in the English lexicon that appeared around the turn of the century and has since been used in many Feminist / W0ke diatribes to date.  The current colloquial meaning is to exploit something (in this case, what is presumed to be Biblical or Red Pill “ideologies”), for the purpose of attacking a person or group, or for spreading discord.

After studying a few articles and research papers about how stuff is ‘weaponized’, I’ve found there are several ways that ‘weaponizing’ appears.  However, I’ve come to the conclusion that there is less substance to this than I originally suspected, so I won’t belabor the reader with tedious examinations of these articles.  The main gist of it is summarized as follows.

The Blue Pill / Secular Concept of ‘Weaponizing’

It is generally recognized that The Red Pill vilifies human nature, especially female sexuality (cherishing promiscuity, craving defilement, dual mating strategies, hypergamy, etc.) and women’s fleshly nature (e.g. being overcontrolling due to insecurity, disloyal, envious, gossipy, greedy, opportunistic, secretive, solipsistic, etc.).  Women are insanely sensitive to being thus characterized and called out on it, especially those who are acutely allergic to accountability, agency, masculine dominance, responsibility, and such.

Similarly, Simps and White Knights are offended whenever women’s impure motives and sins are exposed, and they are quick to rebuild the Pure and Perfect Precious Princess illusion, all the while thinking they are ‘protecting’ women from ‘abuse’ and m!s0gyn!stic men, when in fact, they are only ‘protecting’ their own ego investment in their own Blue Pilled delusions.

But these things would not be so offensive if they were not true, and therein lies the rub.  The truth cannot be so easily dismissed, and so whenever the unvarnished truth is laid bare, the offender only looks all the worse if they try to deny it or justify it.  So the next go-to defense is to cast aspersions on those who pulled back the veil.  This usually appears in myriad forms of ad hominems and bulverisms (e.g. “You’re an !ncel / meanie / m!s0gyn!st / nasty / pervert / sex!st / etc.).

In this context, any embarrassing or inconvenient truth is regarded as a ‘weapon’, hence the term ‘weaponize’.

Truculent Truths are Trending

Taking a wider perspective, it is insightful to consider the cultural climate in which this ‘weaponizing’ occurs.  It is now quite fashionable and trendy to reveal the figurative nakedness of both men and women.  The church and culture ridicule the helplessness of men, while the producers of content that currently passes as Red Pill (2.0) laugh at the nakedness of women.  Women harbor no shame in all this, but are promulgating its perpetuation by airing out all their private sexual transactions online and are even being rewarded for it in the form of attention, cash, and clicks. As a consequence, now S1ut shaming has once again appeared in full force.

Biblical injunctions and of course Red Pill lore come to the fore as incisively salient explanations of all this trash, thereby provoking a slurry of slanderous descriptors (e.g. ‘abuse’, ‘m!sogyny’, ‘t0x!c’, etc.) being abundantly applied to these sources of knowledge by the aforementioned groups.  But in fact, as stated above, this is but a knee-jerk reaction to the revelation of their revulsion.

For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

This ‘weapon’ being referred to is, in fact, the sword of truth.  (2 Corinthians 6:7; Ephesians 6:17; Hebrews 4:12)

Love and Grace are Burdensome and Uncool

Lest our egos become swollen with self-righteous condemnation of the unrepentant transgressors, truth tellers shall not be exempt from this examination.

Ideally, an awareness of the truth should bring an opportunity for grace, fellowship, and ministry, but too often we find that others take note of a personal discrepancy in another, and then ride hard on a particular Red Pill truth to grind it in.  The truth is not spoken in love (Ephesians 4:15), but rather for some other purpose, e.g. branding, division, ostracization, rejection, shaming, and not least the simple gratification of mocking another, and so on.  Thus, such practice of coopting RP truths invariably gives offense.

But this is not what St. Paul prescribed.

3 We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed. 4 But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God

Of all the various sorts of ‘weaponizing’ that I’ve surveyed in my studies, I’ve only found one that is truly a Problem with The Red Pill and not just a hysterically effluent fussy tantrum of being found on the wrong end of the truth.  As much as readers may loathe going over this again, here it is.  Read to the end if you’ve got the stones to do so.

Case Study — An Inept Response to Gamma Ineptitude

The wrongful ‘weaponizing’ of Red Pill truths was covered in 3 previous posts that examined Vox Day’s SocioSexual Hierarchy and the SSH’s Gamma archetype.

To summarize this topic with respect to the present point, the SSH is weaponized when it is used to identify, shame, and shun certain men, labeled Gammas, who possess a particular sort of immaturity characterized by a solipsistic mind and effeminate social traits.  These men happen to be prevalent on blog forums, although they receive little real benefit from it because they need genuine fellowship more than online bander.  Those involved stand to receive more glory and honor by trying to help them rather than shunning them, but the internet is limiting in that respect. If one refuses sincere help, then we are relieved of that responsibility to our fellow man.  We can shake the dust off our feet, wash our hands, and move on.  But either way, the knee-jerk mocking needs to stop; it is not beneficial in the slightest, and only tends to keep Gammas locked in a state of defensive self-defeat.

Conclusions

To put it succinctly, The Red Pill is ugly, and one, anyone really, will inevitably and invariably find themselves to be at the sharp end of some point of the truth.  No one is perfect.

When it is said (i.e. in cultural media) that something is ‘weaponized’, it usually conveys the viewpoint that one finds themselves at the beating end of the proverbial rule. The truth of the matter cannot be rescinded, so it is reframed as bad, intolerable, or unacceptable simply because it is disadvantageous to one’s position.  There is often an element of fear, and perhaps a claim of ‘victimization’ appears as well.

True seekers and truth tellers should not think of the Bible and Red Pill lore as a weapon, i.e. a goad of offense (although it is or can be), but as a tool for breaking down and building up.  The key difference is whether you’re investing in the spiritual maturity of those within your sphere of influence.

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
