What is S1ut Eye?

A reader asks,

“You mentioned that s1ut eye is both positive (an IOI) and negative (a s1ut tell).  What does s1ut eye look like?  How can I identify this and tell whether it is good or bad?”

Comprehensively, s1ut eye is the look of desire on a woman’s face when her heart is totally exposed.  When a woman is in this state, she is completely emotionally vulnerable.

In particular, usually the sclera (the white of the eye) will be visible above and/or below the iris (the colored part of the eye), but this is not always the case.  Also, some people have the white of their eye showing all the time.  In the far East, this is called Sanpaku, and it is supposed to indicate that the person is emotionally volatile or psychologically unstable.

Of additional note, s1ut eye is usually accompanied by other IOIs, especially a gaping mouth, and/or touching her hair, face, or neck.

S1ut Eye — When Her Desirous Soul Peeps out of her Eyes

S1ut Eye is the expression of a female who has abandoned her self-awareness.  Emerging from behind the prim and proper play act, the feminine heart is brimming with raw feral desire and craving the affirmation of her ego through the titillating scrutiny of male attention and the intense carnal pleasure a man wields upon her body, mind, and soul.  In a horizontal context, it extolls the ravishing desire of a woman (feeling) viscerally loved, which is a very beautiful thing to hold and behold.

When vetting, it’s important to choose a woman with a lively emotional affect display, as this indicates good emotional and psychological health.  This is usually men’s first impression when sizing up women – whether she is happy and pleasant or not.

However, when reading IOIs, men shouldn’t look only at her emotional display.  Women can have s1ut eye when they’re afraid, angry, happy, sad, or surprised, but never in a state of contempt or disgust.  You have to look at her inner disposition — how she’s feeling inside.  You have to read her soul’s desire.  As the saying goes, “The eyes are the window to the soul”.

The Appearance of S1ut Eye

It is not hard to find pictorial examples of s1ut eye.

S1ut eye is ubiquitous in advertising, especially cosmetic ads. It is favored by advertisers, models, and photographers alike, simply because the eyes appear larger, it expresses her emotions, and it is attractive and alluring.

All of the following photos were taken from cosmetic ads. These “windows to the soul” are rich in emotional undertones (e.g. admiration, desire, excitement, fear, feral aggression, joy, love, surprise, vulnerability, and wonder are depicted). Some expressions reveal the sclera under the bottom of the pupil, which makes the conveyed emotion more obvious and intense.

The Contextual Appropriateness of S1ut Eye

It’s very important for a wife to gaze upon her husband with S1ut Eye, but if a woman gazes upon any other man with S1ut Eye, or merely just walks around in public with this expression on her face, then that is simply just ‘S1ut Eye’ — a lusty gaze of unquenchable desire.

S1ut Eye is an IOI because if a woman looks a man in the eye for more than 6-10 seconds with any of the above expressions, she’s ready to go home with him, or anywhere really, and ASAP (unless he screws it up).  If a man misses or passes up that opportunity, she it may never come again.

But because s1ut eye is seen everywhere in the media, men may take it for granted and therefore fail to notice when it is displayed by women as an IOI IRL.

In fact, seeing s1ut eye IRL is rather rare.  Most women are VERY conscientious about any overt display of heart-felt emotion, and they will shame other women for losing their sense of self-consciousness and showing such vulnerability.  It goes against the Strong Independent Wimmin™ trope.  The only time it is roundly accepted is when several women are crooning over a hawt guy in their vicinity.  But if any of these women have the courage to approach the man, the others will remind her to “check herself” and/or “calm down” first.  “Checking herself” not only means making sure her hair, make-up, and general appearance is presentable, but it also means to get her desire under control so that she doesn’t make a fool of herself by displaying s1ut eye.  The thing is, guys will seldom pick up on her interest unless she makes a fool of herself.  And even then, most guys won’t “get it”.

Can Men have S1ut Eye?

There is a dispositional equivalent of s1ut eye for men, but it is not so obviously expressed in a man’s eyes as it is for women.  We would think of men in this state as being childish, foolish, or naïve, or we might say he is “wearing his heart on his shirtsleeve”, or “thinking with his little head”.  And just like with the female version, this kind of emotional openness in men is chided and ridiculed.

S1ut Eye in P0rn

P0rnography is stocked full of very obvious s1ut eye, precisely because it reveals women’s sexual desire in their most vulnerable state.  This is the element that makes p0rnography obscene (and also gratifying to men).  Seeing S1ut Eye on a p0rn star in action is what appeals to a male viewers’ sense of sexual conquest, which makes that particular scene or frame grab especially gratifying to watch. However, the only emotions that you’ll see conveyed in their eyes are mostly desire and feral aggression (which appear frightening and soullessly animalistic, respectively). Occasionally you’ll see excitement or vulnerability (which appear empty or bland inside, respectively). If the model is young and new to the camera, you might see fear, surprise, or wonder. What you’ll never see is authentic admiration, joy, or love.

I am NOT suggesting readers should go look for examples. Here’s a meme that should give you an idea of how it looks.

img-1783682411-6a50d56b78afe9.17354255.jpg

As you can see in the above “shots”, when s1ut eye is displayed, many other characteristics of the woman become more obvious, such as her level of confidence, her intelligence, her degree of trust, her passion, and her personality. The combinatory intrigue is what endears a particular woman to a man.

More Pictorial Examples of S1ut Eye

Some of these images are from advertisements, some from p0rn, and some from popular internet culture. When placed side by side sans context, s1ut eye and the personal characteristics it reveals may be more apparent to the reader.

Is S1ut Eye Good or Bad?

Somewhat contrary (or perhaps quite fitting) to the connotation of its name, s1ut eye is nothing more than the natural uninhibited emotional expression of a woman in response to a masculine stimulus. S1ut Eye is the expression of abandoned trust and emotional vulnerability that only happens when a human female is humbled to the very fibers of her soul. It is also the non-verbal communication from the soul of a woman hoping and yearning for immediate love and attention. And you know, AWALT.

Thus, the expression is not inherently immoral.  It depends on what’s going on around her.

So the answer to the reader’s question in the introduction depends entirely on (1) the identity of the person in relation to yourself, (2) the stimulus, and (3) the context.

  • If you see it in advertising, the advertiser is appealing to your hind-brain/libido to put you in the mood to spend $$$.
  • If you see it in p0rnography, you’re looking at the real thing, but it poses a sinful deception in arousing the viewer’s desires outside of a real relationship (i.e. marriage).
  • If you’re in a bar, it means she’s probably drunk.
  • If she’s reading a romance novel, it’s because she’s titillating herself with an imaginary stimulus.
  • If she gives this look to you because she happened to see you taking your shirt off, etc., then it’s because you inadvertently surprised her with a stimulus.
  • If you see it in a loose woman, she’s conscientiously attempting to seduce you or another man.
  • If she’s giving this look to nearly every hawt chad, then she’s probably a true s1ut.
  • If she gives this look to you, but she’s married to another man, then you’ll soon be dealing with her husband’s jealousy.
  • If your wife or girlfriend is giving this look to another man, then it’s the wrong stimulus. Unless she reins herself in (or else, you or someone else does it), then you’re facing a competition for her heart and maybe her body too. (One quick way for husbands to fix this is to bang her ASAP.)
  • If she consistently gives this look to you and only you, then she’s Tingling with love for you.
  • If you’re having sex with her, it is normal and natural, especially after she’s been ridden hard and rolled over, leaving her quivering in a puddle of gism and sweat, and gasping for breath.
  • If you’re having sex with her, and she doesn’t give you this look, then her heart is not into it, and she’s probably using you as a tool for some other purpose.
  • A proud husband should see it on his freshly devirginized wife’s face on their wedding night.  If the bride’s eyes and cherry don’t pop in apoplectic unison, then the marriage may be in trouble.

As you can see, Identity, Stimulus, and Context determine whether or not the expression of s1ut eye is authentic, beneficial, fitting, good, morally licit, right, true, etc.

Cultural Contexts

It also depends on culture.  In the far East, a subtle form of s1ut eye is taken to be an indicator of an open heart, emotional authenticity, humility, moral innocence, and youthful vitality – all very positive traits!

Belle Delphine is perhaps the most easily identifiable example of this kind of image being marketed to western audiences.  Except Belle Delphine sexualizes it, thereby simultaneously making her a very bad example of why Easterners value this appearance.

To Eastern sensibilities, this intense sexualization and the desire it fosters destroy the overall innocence and purity of it (which is true).  So they would view Belle Delphine as a very cute but stupid “monkey” (a popular term for someone who is full of impulsive desire and devoid of self-control and human dignity).

img-1783682424-6a50d5789df188.69630039.jpg

But to Western sensibilities, Belle Delphine represents a very brief period of a late-adolescent girl’s life when she discovers the joys of sexual desire and expression, IOW, the feminine emotional aspects of humility, innocent love, and virginal defloration. Her semiotic appeal to the mythical metanoia of sexual discoverie is the full metaphysical explanation for her spectacular popularity, precisely because all men have within themselves an intensely strong innate desire to sanctify a beautiful and nubile young woman unto themselves, and this imagery conveys tangible evidence of that hope to fully possess a woman, heart, mind, body, and soul. Thus, the sexualization of the image is seen to be naturally congruent, but simultaneously profane.

So as you can see, in both cultures, there are positive and negative aspects of it.  So any expression of s1ut eye must be seen in context and interpreted accordingly.

Permanent S1ut Eye

Some women have a permanent s1ut eye.  At the age of 40 (in the photo below), 16 years after her affair with then-President Bill Clinton, Monica Lewinsky still exhibited s1ut eye.  Other noteworthy examples include Catherine Bach, Sasha Grey, and many professional p0rn stars (e.g. Jynx Maze is pictured).

img-1783682425-6a50d579df2879.33825068.jpg img-1783682427-6a50d57b5ccd66.94856529.jpg img-1783682429-6a50d57d2df1a6.73861501.jpg img-1783682430-6a50d57e7ce835.67213093.jpg

Having a permanent s1ut eye indicates that the woman is fixated in an adolescent developmental stage and has integrated her sexual desire into her every day personality.

Men find this transcendentally alluring, even intoxicating, but as you can imagine, it is chocked full of risks.

For men vetting women, it’s safe to say that permanent s1ut eye is a very bad sign.

Fake S1ut Eye

A fake s1ut eye is often employed to mock the emotional transparency or naïve openness of others.  This is also a very bad sign, because in this case, it is an Indicator of Contempt (IOC).  AOC is the very best example of this particular IOC.
