#2) Yes, could be a number of reasons. Maybe she’s not that into you, but she’s too nice to say so. The irony is that in refusing the be blunt with you, she’s causing even more agony. Girls don’t get this. I’m guilty of this… When I see someone hurt, I just want to hug them and make it all better. It was the same when I was younger, except if it was ME that caused the hurt, and trying to comfort the guy in pain didn’t really work out. Hey, I never said I was smart back then.
It could also be that she finds the chase exciting. There’s nothing like knowing that a guy wants you so much that he’s willing to jump through flaming hoops to get there. The terrible part of this is that she still might not be into you, and just wants to see a monkey dance. She’ll string you along until she’s bored.
Or maybe she really digs you, and she wants you to prove that you’re worth it.
The answer to this? Outcome independence. If she wants to play hard to get, act uninterested. Take a while to answer her phone calls and texts, neg her a little. If she doesn’t like you, she’ll eventually take the hint, but if she likes you, she’ll start chasing you. Also, go read
