I was cleaning out my starred emails, and found this one that I saved a year ago, because it gave me tingles. I don’t even remember what we were arguing about.

Thinking about what you said. Some might interpret that as an implication that I’m lying about my feelings because I have no alternative. Of course, you didn’t mean that. You love me too much to call me a liar.

However, I do have an alternative to expression my love for you. I could stop expressing it. I could stop pursuing you. I could ignore you. I could hate you. I could avoid you. I don’t do any of those things. I love you as a man should, with my soul and body. I pursue you as a man who loves and is ridiculously attractive to his wife.

So, while a lesser woman would have been implying that I was lying about my feelings, I know you didn’t mean that. End of discussion.
