On April 1 I made a post about how I was heading to Ethiopia on April 22 to help kids in poverty. It was a reverse April Fools joke (i.e. the truth). As you read this I’m on a cramped flight headed to Addis Ababa and in just a day or so I will post photos of cityscapes and naked African kids to prove that I wasn’t bullshitting.
I figure this trip will be similar in length to the previous one (six months), but most likely shorter as my plan is less ambitious. If you have any Ethiopian travel tips then please share, and yes, I already know about the HIV situation. I’ll be okay since I bought some industrial strength condoms that are just one thickness grade lower than bicycle tires. I’m not going to feel anything and I’m definitely not going to blast but as long as I can brag about pounding Ethiopian girls I don’t care. Depending on my mood and health status I may swing by Egypt and visit the pyramids via camel transport.
