In the last few weeks I’ve taken a break from updating the guide and I’m reading poems and books on men of the past, mainly to examine masculinity before the feminist ideological lies poisoned our culture and view on men and women (similarly to the work by free northerner). Currently, I’m reading the book ‘Lion in the White House’ on Theodore Roosevelt.
While Theodore Roosevelt is an amazing man (and he will be discussed later on) I want to make a comment on his father, Theodore Roosevelt Sr. From a manosphere perspective Theodore Roosevelt Sr. is a very interesting figure. He was both an absolute alpha man and a completely devoted father and husband, and he is in many cases the primary parent to his children. Today alpha male and a devoted father and husband sounds like contradictions. Reading about the loving family and strong dominant father figure Theodore Roosevelt had as a child, it is not surprising that Theodore Roosevelt grew into a lion.
BTW1. Theodore Roosevelt came from a long line of alpha patriarchs with multitude of virtues. The current president grew up without a father.
BTW2 .The feminist claim that feminism “improved” and enable better fatherhood is a huge lie. Feminism made the west into a fatherless society. The past wasn’t perfect, but is was still better than the present.
