My wife and I have been married for roughly two and a half years. We dated for several years before that – we postponed marriage longer than usually because my wife is quite young, and I’m roughly ten years older. In the years before we got married, her family went through some really fucked up shit. If you’re offended by the language, get over it – weaker words just aren’t appropriate in this case. Long story short, it really brought the two of us close together in a way that very little actually can. Very few people could understand just how deeply I love my wife, and I truly believe that she loves me as well.

However… all has not been perfect in our romance. Things started out pretty well. In the early years of our courtship we had what is probably a pretty typical early-relationship sex life. We had sex 2-3 times a week, and it ranged from mediocre (rare) to normal (typical) to occasionally mind blowing. My wife (henceforth known as Hermione – she’d like that, if she knew) was hawt. Following Roissy’s Dating Market Value Test For Women, I’d have scored her at the time as a 41 – “nascent alpha female”, and well within reach of “bona fide hottie”.

As for myself, I was in pretty good shape (a couple of pounds over, but not bad – and very muscular underneath), and things were going well both at work and in my social life. I was on track for a pretty good career, had a fairly new and pretty good car, blah blah blah.

By the time we got married, a lot of things had deteriorated. The aforementioned family troubles had really taken their toll on both of us. Hermione’s 5’6 frame had bloomed from 125 lbs at her peak up to the mid 170s. I hate to say it, but her score on the dating test was low single digits. She had been on antidepressants, which definitely contributed to her weight gain and should also give a clue as to how she was doing in other ways. We were having sex once every 2-3 months, if that.

I mostly let it go, chalking it up to her depression issues (which was probably pretty fair), and trying to be the supportive BF/husband. But she wasn’t doing much. She was in college for a semester, then out of it. She wanted to go back, but to a different school. It took a while to make that happen, so for most of a year she was basically at home doing nothing. She worked here and there for a bit, but mostly had a rough time of things.

It wasn’t all bad, though. She was doing well enough that she’d stopped taking the anti-depressants, and she’d lost a little bit of weight (she was down to around 160ish, or slightly below). She still wasn’t doing a ton, but she had at least partially rejoined society after her family trauma. Then, finally, last summer she got re-started in school. Even better, she changed majors. She really enjoyed her new major, and being back on campus – and she liked the new school a lot better than her old one. On top of it all, she was pregnant with our son – and more or less loved every minute of it. Some women don’t do well pregnant, but she thrived on it.

I’m going to take a moment out and really brag on my wife, because she deserves it here. In the first trimester, she actually lost weight. For most of her pregnancy, she was very careful about what she ate. On top of that, she started exercising more (albeit mostly low intensity walking). She kept her weight under such good control that during her whole pregnancy she gained only 20 pounds – and within a week of delivering our son, she weighed less than her pre-pregnancy weight. As of right now, I would put her dating score at a 19 – well below her peak, but a significant improvement over the depths of her depression.

Not everything was fixed, though. Our sex life has still been virtually non-existent. We even went back to the counselor she’d seen during her family crisis (a fantastic counselor) for some couples sex therapy. She basically told us that there was little or nothing she could do. Sex isn’t the only problem, either. Our relationship has become much more of a “friends” relationship than a romantic one. There’s been very little passion. I still love her and she still loves me, very much so… but things are very, very stale. Not that it will stop the feminists from going ass crazy in the comments, but despite my comments about her appearance, I’m still FAR more attracted to her than she is to me, and that was true even when she’d let herself go the most.

In short, this is what I’m trying to fix by bringing Game to my marriage. My goals are very simple. I want my wife to be attracted to me again – not just content for me to be the provider for her and her child. I want more regular sex, and I want my wife to enjoy it. My wife does a lot for me, and if I pushed it she’d have sex most nights just because I want it. But she wouldn’t enjoy it at all, and I’m just not interested in that. I don’t want to find myself 10, 20, 30 years from now in a situation where my wife and I hate each other because our marriage has slowly stagnated to death.

Thus, I turned to the pros. There are two fundamental tests of whether you have any true knowledge or not. First, can your knowledge be used to make accurate predictions about the future. Second, can your knowledge be used to achieve a desired outcome. If your “knowledge” can’t pass at least one of these tests, it’s not knowledge at all. At best, it’s an interesting idea.

My old ways of looking at relationships – the ways I was taught by my family, and by our overly feminized society – failed these tests. Miserably. In a few short days it has become readily apparent to me that Game passes both of these tests. Those of you who do not accept game, or who are offended by it… enjoy living your delusions. I don’t like all of the things I’ve learned from Game. But experimentation has convinced me that they’re undeniably true. I will not run from uncomfortable truths. I will face them and accept them, and use them to make myself – and my wife – happy.
