Steve Sailer: A social conservative who gets it

He’s on a roll today, taking down the idiots who think the current recession was caused by men in his Takimag column. A snippet:

Of course, that just underlines the fact that white guys are still primarily the ones keeping this society running.

And that means that if the conventional wisdom is true—that public criticism is horribly deleterious to self-esteem—this would imply, logically, that white males are going to stop creating new things and increasingly just retreat in a funk into playing WoW—well, then, we’re all in big trouble.

I’m increasingly becoming convinced that Sailer is the smartest, wisest, most insightful conservative intellectual writing today. If you’re not reading him, you’re not informed – period.
