With all of the recent white vagina worshiper BS on this blog, I haven’t had a chance to comment on Adria Richards. This is another case of a false sexual harassment accusation which I have experience with. What happened was that two tech guys, we’re having a completely private conversation. Adria who is clearly always on the search to drum up a false accusation pretty much made up her “complaint”. The tech guys were talking about dongles and forking a repository. Both of those are common tech terms. Dongles can have a sexual connotation, but forking a repository doesn’t. (For those of you who don’t know, “forking a repository” means making a copy of a collection of source code.) What Adria Richards did was use a private conversation that had nothing to do with her and twist it to a different meaning. She was in no way sexually harassed.
The way Adria Richards handled the whole situation also proves she wasn’t harassed. She took a picture of the guys who supposedly harassed her, including innocent bystanders who were lucky not to lose their jobs along with one of the tech guys, “Mr. Hank”. All of this was done without anyone’s permission. This picture was tweeted to the world, and “Mr. Hank” lost his job as a result. Adria Richards had a big smile on her face while she was taking that picture. That’s not the action of someone who has just been harassed.
In addition, Adria Richards has a history of this type of behavior. I’m not surprised by that.
The only good news out of this whole incident is that Adria Richards lost her job. That’s what she deserved for making a false sexual harassment accusation. I hope that she’s radioactive in the tech industry now so no more tech guys become the victim of her false sexual harassment accusations. Of course, she will probably get paid by some feminist organization now to be a professional victim, but she hopefully won’t be near guys in the tech industry.
There is a petition to reinstate “Mr. Hank” at his job. I’m undecided on support it because rather than stand up for himself (and men) he apologized to Adria Richards.
Regardless of anything else, this is a good example of why you should avoid women as much as possible anywhere. You can get a false sexual harassment accusation anywhere even outside of your job that causes you to lose your job. Even if it doesn’t cause you to lose your job, you can still be publicly attacked like these guys were.
