One of the problems gamers have selling their scam is that a lot of guys are getting laid so they think they have no need to buy game crap. What the gamers try to do is redefine “getting laid”. This is what Obsidian has done. In that link he says that most men have never gotten laid, and that he gets the most mind blowing sex all the time. If you have a brain, you should have no trouble figuring out this is bullshit. (Even other gamers know that Obsidian is full of shit. They figured out that he’s only going out with fat chicks, but that’s beside the point.)
What’s happening here is a standard scam tactic. A guy who gets laid on a semi-regular basis isn’t going to think he needs game or that game could do anything for him. (He would be correct, but for the wrong reason.) Trying to redefine “getting laid” is about making that guy think there’s something wrong with him to motivate him to buy game products to fix what is “wrong”. It’s also an excuse for gamers to engage in self-aggrandizement. That’s what this is all about.
Gamers on average aren’t getting laid more than you or have better sex than you. They just want you to think that to buy into their scam.
