Four months ago I was in a haiku contest sponsored by the Washington City Paper. I lost the contest, surprisingly, and found it disappointing that my haikus were worthy of mention instead of my blog.

Well ladies and gentlemen, yesterday I finally got the recognition I deserve.

Presenting…. Blogger Stud Living in Dad’s Basement, Writing Second Book on How to Get Laid

I talked to the writer on the phone last week and she was very interested in my basement living situation along with the fact that I don’t have a job. I fully expected her to rip me to shreds but the post was mostly pro-Roosh. Even the hater comments that followed were very tame.

One section I wanted to elaborate on:

Roosh V is following his bang-up book Bang (no subtitle by intention so that dudes can read it in coffee shops without everyone knowing they’re losers looking for advice on how to get laid)…

That was a unnecessary low blow to any guy trying to improve his lot with the ladies and shows you where the mainstream media stands on pick up (I’ve never seen a MSM article on pick up that was favorable to men). If she directly quoted me it would have went like this: “I made the cover very plain so a guy could read it in coffee shops and no one else would know he’s reading a book about getting laid.” It seems like the writer has a grudge against guys who like to bed tons of women.

Let me put it this way: what would happen to the American female gender if more men were empowered with choice instead of settling with frigid women who have no problems withholding sex to increase their power? For starters they’d be forced to learn how to please men instead of devoting large amounts of time into fashion, celebrity culture, and eating. We may see this in our lifetimes as desirable American males look increasingly abroad for wives who cannot comprehend this concept called “me time.”
