The title of this post comes from an anecdotal story of what Jack Nicholson said to Lara Flynn Boyle when she showed up unannounced at his door while he was banging another girl.  No apology, no guilt, and no remorse.  Jack is what he is.

What is it with some of the women I’ve dated that they have to show up at my door unannounced?  I find it one of the singularly most annoying things a girl can do.  Not just because I’ve been caught with another girl when this happened.  That was no big deal as it was time to move on, but I find it an affront to my personal time and space.  I know most women live in their own little myopic world of emotions and short time horizons.  As a result. maybe I’m expecting too much for them to see how selfish their behavior is from my perspective.

One who was a FB but wanted to be an LTR used to show up and practically camp out in my apartment.  If there is one sure way to get kicked to the curb it is showing up at my door when I’m not expecting it.

Another gal I dated used to want to check in with me daily, tell me how much she missed me ad nauseam and generally seemed incapable of getting through her day without my help.   The bigger an asshole I was, the more she loved me.  I found out a couple of years later through a long time friend of my mother’s that she had gotten married (to a ‘nice’ guy), but I was still the one she always talked about.  Such is the power of having even some game (even though I didn’t know it at the time).

This post was inspired by a girl showing up unannounced at Tallyrand’s place.  I’ve been harping on Tallyrand to relay his New Years Day trifecta, but he seems a bit reluctant.  Maybe this will light a fire under his ass.
