Just a quick observation from the last two days of Christmas shopping that I’ve had the displeasure of being involved in.  I’ve been driving around the big city quite a lot.  Every time I see a minivan there’s some dude driving and attempting to entertain his kids.  Every time I see an see and SUV, there’s a woman driving sans kids.

I’m starting to think minivans are a reflection of the feminization of the American male, and the flip side being the SUV is reflective of the masculinization of the American woman.
