Riots and Greece.

The poor civil servants, and I use that term as loosely as I would in referring to a group of men as gentlemen (but perhaps not as loose as a group of women, pun intended), won’t be able to retire . . . at 53.

How much longer can this country continue with federal employees making an average of $79,000+?  How much longer can a twenty year full retirement package for police, sheriffs and firemen be sustained.

And before you go on about how dangerous it is for police or the impact of age.  I knew a guy that got shrapnel in his foot while in the military and got a disability check for the rest of his life, and went on to work for the police for twenty years, then “retired” and went to work for the Feds as a marshall for twenty years.
