Anyone see a problem with this kind of thinking?:
Now here is the deal.. If a man is not physically repulsed by a guy and the guy is attracted to him, what is the harm in getting intimate with him? As previously mentioned, both guys were average looking (or less) and unattached.
Their real choice was between masturbating and a human being, and they chose the former over the later.
Realistically, the worst outcome in both cases would have somewhat awkward sex and some post-sex cuddling. But they chose masturbating over average sex + physical contact with a human being.
I admit changing the sexes from this post and editing it a tiny bit, but I think anyone reading this can see the fundamental error in this thinking.
Sex is never free.
It has a cost associated with it.
Always.
The idea that women should give it up, simply because you want it, is entitlement thinking. It is being lazy.
The world does not work that way.
Which is more valuable? A virgin or a slut?
The virgin. She more likely to pair bond with a man, she’ more likely to be faithful, she is more likely to stay married.
If you want to pay for sex either directly or through marriage, that is your prerogative, if you want to get it from some other route, than you better be willing to put in the effort to get it and the fault for not getting it lies solely within yourself.
And it is within yourself to correct that problem (within reason).
If you expect things to be handed to you, you’re living in a dream land.
If you decide it isn’t worth the effort, that is a rational decision. I will not fault it either.
My problem is with thinking that we should just get what we want just because. (Insert “social justice” or “fairness” or any other phrase you want)
Part of the problem we have in our society today, is a bunch of horny men fifty years ago believing that with “free love” there would be sex all over the place with different women for every man at no cost.
The cost has been enormous, and although I enjoy what our current culture has to offer, I realize that it is at a price both individually and for our civilization as a whole.
There is always a price for the things that we want and you have to decide whether you want to pay it or not.
