I was reading this post at the Spearhead, and aside from the “What about teh wimmin?” crap (which I think undermines the men’s movement), the interesting quote is:
“The more we delve into feminism and its elemental concepts, the more apparent it becomes that we are struggling against a meta-religion that is deeply ingrained in the Anglosphere’s psyche. Perhaps we will have to accept that we dissenters are actually heretics who are leaning on pillars that support the entire edifice of our civilization as it has emerged following the 20th century.”
This coupled with this post over at Gucci Little Piggy got me thinking about consequences and the fear of them, and the directions things take.
The reference to leaning on the pillars, is an allusion to the story of Samson and Delilah. Samson for love, or because he pedestals and is in fact an early precursor to the Renfields that plague our society, gets completely screwed over by the woman of his life.
It is an apt metaphor for our society.
How does it end? Samson leans against the pillars of a temple, causing the whole structure to collapse, killing Delilah, the Philistines and himself.
Those of you that are agitating for change, that are part of the mens movement, need to realize that you are Samson.
When the change comes, the temple collapses on everyone.
