It’s a good thing to know that your work has inspired others, and it seems that the past few weeks has inspired Our Lady Jamila to give blogging yet another try. Although it seems to be getting off to a bit of slow start, she’s logged some interesting posts, and has fielded a number of somewhat interesting comments as a result.
However, as it often happens in the blogosphere, ideas, often espoused by those who fancy themselves intellectual heavyweights, take a backseat to discussing/attacking/belittling personalities, and Jamila’s humable blogging effort is no exception. Since its inception on Feb 20, her blog has seen the following comments written about your humble servant; direct quotes from the Lady herself apper below, with attendant links for context; my response follows:

OBS: Yes, you were *trying*. Operative, keyword here. And the fact that you have attracted nothing but The White Knight and Bag Lady in bad disguise just goes to show just how “reasonable” you latest try at blogging really is.

I can’t stand passive-aggressiveness and his recent posts have been extremely passive-aggressive. When I directly confronted him about it he erased my post about but chose to leave up his reply, which I saw as being dishonest.”

OBS: Again, WRONG. I was quite clear in how and why I run my house. Again – you don’t get to determine these things. I do. The. End. Oh, and by the way – if you think I need you to generate blog hits, you’re a lot more delusional than I’d originally thought.

She seems to buy into the notion that women can change the “bad boys”. Ha, right. And of course Obsidian cosigned it just because it was something that took women to task, no matter how rediculous it was.
And now I’m cosigning you. I understand that he’s a black man and he’ll be a bit sensitive to anything negative directed at black men, but he leans a bit too far in the direction of absolving black men of their fault in anything.”

“I don’t know how deery keeps finding the motivation to shred his arguments, especially when he deletes her most effective ones (as he did to me).”
OBS: Deery has been dispatched time and again, this has been documented. Even you had to cosign about the whole Axe thing.
He’s been deleting my comments too, hence why I’m not really trying to go over there and spend time giving thoughful responses anymore. Putting name in every other post and then deleting my comments is petty and makes the whole endeavor not worth much of my time.”
OBS: A legend in your own mind, to be sure. But alas, I’m the HNIC here, not you, and I get to decide, when you’re out of pocket.

That to me is a major distinction between men it the game community. There are those that seem to really like women, touching them, kissing them, figuring them out and then there is the second group who seems to see getting women into bed as a way to degrade them/punish them for whatever women in general, or a particular woman has done.”

OBS: Really now? OK, let’s count the ways Our Lady Jamila has “intellectually dominated” The Obsidian, shall we?
1. She was WRONG about the average dress size of the American Women, circa 2010
2. She was WRONG about White Men desiring plus-sized Black Women or Women of any color for that matter
3. And she’s WRONG about how I look. 5′8″ and 160lbs is hardly a “rotund” guy, LOL. And all this is just for starters. Pick the topic, I will run rings around the young lass.
