Feminists Resort to Ninja Tactics

The National Women’s Law Center is again seeking continued privileges for women:

Tell Congress to Reauthorize the Elementary and Secondary Education Act

Soon Congress will consider a major education reform package. It could not come sooner – the students in our nation’s schools are in crisis. And unfortunately, the problems facing girls at risk in school largely have been masked by overgeneralizations about their performance. It’s up to us to ensure that all of our nation’s children have equal opportunities to learn and succeed.

Yes, the NWLC believes that women need more entitlements even as they outperform boys in education. It was a national crisis when girls weren’t doing as well in school but it’s a trivial generalization when boys aren’t.

Nevertheless this is a good sign. Feminists are concerned because the plight of boys and men is gaining more national attention. They are concerned that people will wake up and realize just how good girls and women have it when compared to boys and men.

Let’s break down their little petition. They are trying to mask their requests for continued entitlements by inserting seemingly reasonable points in the petition, an act of deliberate subterfuge. Feminists are trying to use stealth, camouflaging their misandry like ninjas in the shadows.

They hope education reform will:

* Transition to an accountability system that promotes “data-driven” reforms that improve outcomes for all students;

This says absolutely nothing. It’s here merely to disorient.

You hear the sound of footsteps in the corner. Distracted, you don’t notice the next bullet point.

* Require collection and reporting of data on pregnant and parenting students and authorize supportive programs for those students;

I thought this was about education? How about educating young girls not to get pregnant in the first place and young guys not to provide the necessary semen?

* Support high-quality early learning opportunities that help prepare children to enter kindergarten;

You hear a faint whisper and turn your head to look around. Your attention diverted as you stare hard into the darkness, you miss the next three bullet points.

* Require high school sports data collection;

I thought this was about education? Feminists will use the results of this data collection, which will show that girls are less interested in sports, to further take away boy’s opportunities to be involved in sports. Gotta love Title IX.

* Collect data and support programs to increase girls’ participation in and completion of STEM courses;

Feminists just can’t stand the fact that men are better at science, math and engineering. Feminists were unable to break men’s dominance in fields that require high level reasoning and innovation because men are simply better at these things than women – and corporate America knows it. Sadly for women, results matter in these fields and they don’t get as big a handicap as in the Olympics.

* Ensure a positive school climate and support the health and safety of all students;

By painting all boys as rapists and abusers and all females as victims, I’m guessing.

* Adopt and strengthen programs to engage communities and address barriers that decrease student engagement;

As the moon comes from behind the clouds, you see the glint of steel as a dark figure draws near.

* Clarify that supplemental educational services providers are subject to civil rights laws;

Oh, here’s Title IX again, as feminists would hate to see “discrimination” on the basis of sex as long as that “discrimination” is against girls. Now that girls are ahead of boys, they couldn’t bare to see boys getting educational assistance to overcome the widespread anti-male mindset in education.

As the dark figure approaches, the moonlight reveals its features. It hisses at you, teeth bared, its breath making you recoil. You smell feminist.

Remembering feminists always travel in packs, you whirl around to see dozens more approaching from the rear wielding golf clubs and handguns. You even see a few camouflaged in ball caps with the letters “MRA” scrawled on them in black lipstick.

Good thing they can’t golf or shoot worth a damn, you think to yourself as you advance to confront them.
