I watched Ben Roethlisberger’s press conference last night regarding the Georgia DA’s decision to not press rape charges against him.  Based on his body language, overall nervousness, and obviously well rehearsed (probably memorized) speech, I have a feeling that he is not exactly completely innocent of SOMETHING here.

This is nothing more than pure speculation and deductive guesswork on my part…but I do believe that what we are seeing with Ben here is a pattern emerging.

As a 2-time Superbowl winning QB, the face of one of the most storied franchises in NFL history, a highly-publicized multi-millionaire, who plays the ultimate “alpha” position at football’s highest level, Ben is most certainly by all accounts and appearances, one of the most eligible bachelors in the country.

Yet it now appears that we have a pattern of women who are initially excited at the prospect of meeting, partying and presumably hooking up with him…and come away making claims of rape after an evening alone with him.

I think there are now only two possible explanations for what clearly now looks like a pattern of behavior – either Ben is a sadistic rapist…or he’s got no game.

People who understand the concepts of game know that one of the primary keys to a successful seduction is to build comfort. A man who has all the outer appearances of an Alpha will attract women by virtue of their publicly obvious status. Hence the common storyline here regarding Ben in which young women are excited about the opportunity to spend time with him…

…but once he gets them alone, something seems to be going very wrong here.

Thanks to the feminist movements efforts to expand the definition of rape to now include any woman who regrets sex after the fact,  she can now backward- rationalize her regret at consenting to sex with a “creep” by claiming she was raped. We will never really know if in fact Ben is a rapist….or a guy who simply got no game and gives women the creeps once he gets them alone and naked.

If Ben is indeed not a rapist, it is imperative that he learn about game, because what should be relatively easy for a guy in his position of fortune and fame – effortlessly banging hot women, and having his choice of the top-tier females for selection should he want marriage and kids – appears to be rather difficult for him to manage without facing investigations by the justice system and all of this bad publicity for himself, his family, his fans and his franchise.
