I’ve received some suggestions to meet up with people IRL, and although I’ve never been averse to the idea, it’s kind of a hassle given that readers are scattered across the globe. However, it turns out that there are a number of local readers, and it would be nice to meet up for some good old fashioned comradery and socializing.
I’d be happy to get together with people in the Seattle area for good conversation and fellowship, so I thought I’d throw the idea out there. However, for starters I don’t think politics should be the first order of business. Instead, simply hanging out to have a good time and get to know each other ought to be the first priority.
I like the idea of spending some time in a relaxed, friendly environment where men can speak their minds without fear and enjoy each other’s company. So I’d like to propose a get together.
As for rules, they are quite simple:
1. Respect your fellow man regardless of his faith (or lack thereof), ethnicity, age, wealth and ability. Just accept him for who he is and be a gracious, kind and polite person.
2. No feminists.
I think the above should suffice.
Anyone interested who happens to live in or be traveling through the Seattle area should feel free to get in touch via the contact form if interested. I think it’s about the right time for some socializing. Hopefully, we can expand this sort of thing to other locales as well, but I’ll have to start at home.
