Ball-busting harridan and mother of 8 Kate Goslin has revealed that she is “lonely,” and the life of a single mother is not quite as empowering as it’s cracked up to be. After divorcing her husband Jon, who has since stayed out of the limelight and moved on with his life, TLC canceled her show following tanking ratings. Kate herself was not particularly popular, and many felt that she was unnecessarily harsh on her former husband and an overbearing taskmaster.

With all this evidence of what a pain in the rear the woman is, I can’t imagine any man who isn’t severely damaged in one way or another doing anything but turning tail and running hard in the opposite direction if he came across her on a blind date.
It’s a shame Jon had to go through the divorce and loss of being with the kids full-time, and he’s probably financially flat on his back from the child support, but sometimes these things are worth it. Those of us who have been through it before know that the price, as steep as it is, can be worth every penny when you cut the chain and make a run for it. It’s like regaining your soul; rediscovering the essence of manhood. And then there’s always the schadenfreude of seeing the next poor fool have to deal with it.
In that spirit, let there be an empowered single mother for every white-knighting mangina. For Kate Gosselin, only the most strident male feminist will do. We can only hope she finds him, and Jon gets to have the satisfaction of watching the sucker deal with her.
