Patty Murray, one of the two hardcore feminist senators that represent Washington state, has “learned” that 40% of women treated at Puget Sound area veterans’ hospitals have reported being sexual assault victims.
Four out of every 10 women veterans seeking medical care at U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers in the Puget Sound area report that they were victims of sexual trauma in the military, Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., learned at a Seattle meeting Friday.
“The consequences of military sexual trauma are permanent: They are not something you walk away from when you leave the military,” said Dr. Joyce Wipf, professor of medicine at the University of Washington and director of the VA’s Puget Sound Women’s Program.
I’m not sure exactly how this figure was obtained, but I imagine it was based on a questionnaire. These questionnaires have been responsible for inflating rape figures for decades, most frequently in universities, but now in the military as well.
Typical questions are along the lines of “have you ever felt pressured into sex?” or “has anyone ever touched you in a way that made you feel uncomfortable?” This ends up being reported as rape and sexual assault, despite the fact that in most cases it would fall far below the standard in a court of law.
But even worse is the title of the article, which strongly suggests that a full 40% of women treated in the VA are being treated for sexual assault:

Most people would assume, on reading the headline, that the women are being treated for sexual assault, when this is not even close to being true.
When it is reported that men are falling behind in university enrollment, people look at all answers besides the most obvious: they are not welcome there. The radical feminism that characterizes humanities departments across the land has resulted in humanities programs that have all but excluded males from the classroom due to a real and relentless ideological assault on men. Why would any self-respecting man want to take classes that cast him as the incarnation of evil?
Now the US military appears poised to do the same. I can’t think of any domestic political measures that could hollow out the armed forces like mounting a sustained campaign against men and masculinity, but our politicians seem determined to do just that. Within a decade or two, the prime recruiting pool for the military – young working and lower middle class American men – will begin to avoid it just as they have already begun to avoid college. It’s a disaster in the making, but those in power today seem determined to wreck what’s left of our institutions no matter what the cost.
