Ben Fodor, who dresses up as superhero “Phoenix Jones” to patrol the streets of Seattle and fight crime at night, was recently arrested after breaking up a drunken fight between some drunken revelers near downtown Seattle’s waterfront.
Fodor, an athletic young man armed with pepper spray and wearing a ballistic vest, has been annoying the Seattle Police Department for some time with his vigilante patrols, and when he intervened in the fight a few days ago police finally arrested him. The “victims” indicated that Fodor attacked them with pepper spray when they were just dancing around in a lighthearted manner. However, video has emerged that tells a different story.
Shortly after Fodor breaks up the fight, a young woman violently attacks him with a shoe, falling flat on her face at one point. After this, there is some more hurly burley involving multiple drunks, brinksmanship, vehicular assault and much excitement:

For men, there are a few lessons here:
(1) American women – especially drunk ones – have no fear of men and will attack without compunction. They will also incite attacks; it appears that the women in the video were willing spectators of the fight Fodor broke up, and may have been encouraging it, then they subsequently try to incite an attack on Fodor and his companions.
(2) If women are involved in an altercation and you get involved as well, you will likely end up arrested by the police even if you did a good deed.
(3) Trying to do the job of police provokes police anger and will also probably lead to arrest.
So what’s a man to do? Well, if there’s a fight or any kind of crime involving women – even if they are “victims” – it’s best to simply stay out of it. White knighting can easily lead to attack by other men or the woman, and you could well end up in jail.
