A good video, and I like how they had an example from the left... specifically, the Green Party blogger who got police attention for making a twitter comment about the UK Independence Party.

Freedom of speech, both in the purely legal/political sense and also in the cultural sense of "a social climate which welcomes open, vigorous discussion and debate" is NOT exclusively the province of either the left or the right. Both sides have members who support it and both sides have members who oppose it.

Isreali lobbies basically invented this form of slander, or at least brought it to the main stream. They were labeling fair criticisms of state policy "anti-semetic" for decades before it became the norm.

The idea that one can make a remark that has very clear implications and then be called a bigot simply because of word choice or lack of 1000 qualifications is nuts.
