Found this while investigating the Reddit Feminist™ claim that men aren't under-represented as victims in the media, which has been coming up all over the place recently regarding the Boko Haram kidnapping. This particular idiot claimed the statistic couldn't be used in the way the report's own author used it, and inspired me to do some digging.

The sentence following that quote:

Do the two sentences put together suggest that sexual violence and domestic violence don't include male victims?

The best example is acid attacks in and around Afghanistan. Oh no, poor women, men don't know what it's like to have to go through that because no one attempts to ruin a man's beauty by throwing acid on his face. News flash: if a man pisses off another man over there they die.
